    Good Morning Everyone

Where is our weakest position on the pitch?

    Keeper

    Defence

    Midfield

    Wingers

    Forward

Quite a few are saying our wingers! Should we be reverting to a flat 4-4-2 formation to make us more difficult to break down?

Perhaps we should go back to Wilko's days and play 5-3-2; for some reason this has always suited us!

    Thoughts?

Yosuke Ideguchi played the last 9 minutes of their Serie B game against top of the table Huesca.

Culture Club are not in the relegation zone. If he can't get more than a cameo role, why would we want him?

He's been at the club since mid January. Surely, he's settled in by now?

Leeds target Mbakogu has applied for dual citizenship (Italy and Nigeria).

Apparently it will make the paperwork easier when he arrives in the Summer.

    This is Brilliant.

A Grimsby fan was chucked out of the ground for having an inflatable ball. The next home game.....

Good morning to Matt and co from a dull Bardsey
We need a stronger midfield more defenders as we are having to play Dallas as a full back and could love to see some fast wingersI am afraid Alioski needs to man up
We have got plenty of young lads now so we need some quality signings for next season
This lad from Capri does not look the part to me 36 goals in 130 games Aden Flint can beat that

    good morning ELL

and to all that are yet to post. Think our weakest position on the pitch is deffo midfield when we have had our glory years Revie Wilco m/f was always our strongest position and thats the critical link between defence and attack attack attack. but maybe we were just spoilt,

Problems stem from Tommy and his tactics/use of O'Kane, Viera, Phillips. The boy Viera was a stand out player last season when he was used, but this season has been a shadow of himself, is he peed off with how he was used? Phillips started the season on fire and was getting himself into positions to score. Where has that player gone? O'Kane was also a stand out player last season as all our best performances came when he was used, but Monk didnt like him. This season Tommy gave him loads of games but he has been in and out of form and Saturday he was so far out of form it was a joke.

Suggest PH starts a rebuild job in the middle with Forshaw as the pivot - also back to basics for passing as we lose the ball too often and have forgotten how to tackle without picking up cards.

If Lassoga gets no service why play him? If he gets service he scores goals so either learn how to supply him or play with 2 strikers

Elland......I think we should ask the FL for special dispensation and see if we can play a 644 formation. If they can change from 2 pts to 3 for a win and introduce the back pass rule, I don't see why they can't give us a dig out to help us back to the Prem..

    Morning all...

Sometimes you can have too much choice when it comes to players, positions and formations.

Take Roofe, he is a forward but he "can" play wide left and he has probably had more game time for us on the left than he has as a forward.

We have Anita who is a defensive midfield player who "can" play at LB and I believe we have only ever played him in that position.

Hernandez a number 10 or central midfield he "can" play wide left and that's where he has played most games for us.

We seem to be trying to pick the best players but not in their best positions

O'Kane, Anita, Phillips, Vieira, Klitch, Cibicki, Dallas, Saiz, Hernandez, Forshaw, Alioski, Sacko

Ask 20 Leeds fans our best formation and midfield and you'd probably get 20 different answers, I think the only thing all would agree on is the inclusion of Saiz and leave out Sacko

Ristac makes the point about the number 10 role. We have 4 players capable of playing a proper 10 role in Saiz, Hernandez, Alioski & Forshaw. Hernandez is a specialist 10 but been played on the left, why mot leave him as a 10. The other 3 are capable of playing anywhere in the middle and bet Saiz would be a brilliant Beardsley to Lassoga and so too would Alioski as both those players have played as strikers before. Its then a case of filling in the holes behind those 2 and still have Ekuban and Roberts on the bench

    Dear Mr Shako
We at the FL have been looking for some time at finding ways to help Leeds United.
However we feel that having 644 players in one team will be a tad too many.
We are always willing to work with our members so any further suggestions would be regarded as most helpfull,
As we have run out of ideas on how to develop the game.
    Yours most sincerely
    On behalf of the FA

Morning Shaks. You have to go back decades when it was two points for a win pal. It's been 3 points for a win since I can remember...

Football League appreciate we want to give most of our under 23's a run out but having 644 players on the pitch will cause congestion.

    Morning all.

Where is our weakest position on the pitch? Between the white lines judging by some performances this season. :emoticon-0136-giggl

Midfield seems to be a popular answer and I don't disagree but we need to look at the defence.

Good players. We know all about pontus. Pennington looks class, Cooper at times is having the season of his life. Ayling was just brilliant before his injury. Dallas has come in and is doing a great job. De bock seems to have started ok.

So after all that why do I say the defence meds looking at? Individually good players but zero organisation.

Look at the goals conceded in the last three games.

The defence just looked to be all over the place. The Cardiff game still gives me nightmares.

These profeesional footballers all just seem to chase the ball leaving far too much space. Look at cardiffs first.

All the above players have had moments of individual brilliance. But as a unit....

Maybe it is tied in to the poor midfield performances but we need some sort of organisation at the back.

We slag overpaid poser footballers for not living in the real world, but forget their career is usually over by mid thirties and in cases like this over before its begun.

I have an important request of the Nancy boy southerner who does these threads (that should get him on my side)

Any chance these threads could be entitled on the lines of ‘Breakfast Debate - Tuesday’ etc so when I sign on and there are 3 debates running with active posts (as often happens) I know which is which?

Good morning all, by the way <ok>
