True, but these sort of things tend to happen a lot. I'd leave him on the bench personally. Nice idea be interesting to see the Leicester fans reactions if he comes on. It's unlikely but if he comes on and it's 1-1 or 2-1 I might check the odds on next goal.
That'd be good too. What do you think the fan reaction will be if Mahrez comes on? I was at Palace away this year for Virgils first game and it's fair to say the reaction was definitely 'mixed'. As an aside, I saw Billy got the winner in the end for your adopted lot and his boyhood club today
If he comes on he will want to score, as let's not forget it was City who wouldn't pay the asking price, not Leicester refusing to sell
I think it was a bit of both. Leicester set a high asking price that they knew City wouldn't pay due to it being so late and having no time to find a replacement. Leicester had no intention of selling him unless it was for a ridiculous unrealistic amount. Agree that he'll want to score though, both to prove a point to City and to begin to make amends with the Leicester fans too.
Probably mixed them depends what he does. Won’t matter anyway as our ****ing **** defending is costing us. Giving the ball to them every time, we deserve to be on the end of a pasting and out of sight by now! Pleased for Sharp, good win for them
Can't read too much into a game at City though mate. Still fancy you for 7th which should be good for European football next year.
Even as a United supporter I have to admit that Kevin De Bruyne is on another level at the moment. There isn't an attacking midfielder in Europe who comes close.
Well they’re good enough without helping them on the way. I reckon 8th at best, we’ll finish below Everton for sure and possibly Burnley
Poor from Schemeichel there. If I was Puel I wouldn't even bring Mahrez on now, the games gone so don't give into him.
Burnley seem to be in self destruct at present though, earliest a team has reached for the flip flops in history ... Don't think they'll finish above either you or Everton. Fancy you ahead of Everton as Sam is too negative away from home and has a habit of cruising through the latter part of a season if midtable, especially if he knows he's gone in the summer. I know you're quite a pessimistic fan like me though so won't take any notice of this
I’m just looking at how we’re playing and the school boy defending and thinking any team in this league could tear us a new one like this. Everton have been ****e and are only 1 point behind us and gave us a lesson last week so that worries me
