Thing with the Spuds is that they know they've got **** all on Arsenal in the scheme of things. Yeah they finished above us last season, but once in 21 years ? That just speaks volumes when they bring it up. And when it comes to trophies, they are just better off keeping their mouths shut. The power shift stuff is just embarrassing really. It's like Everton claiming a power shift because they finished above Liverpool in 2004
It won't be long until the dust settles, and the little boost of confidence Arsenal and their fans are getting from their new signings, will come crashing down around them. They might have signed a very good striker, but the rest of their team has major flaws. Cech is a calimty keeper these days, their defenders are unorganised and don't have a clue what they are supposed to be doing, whilst Xhaka their holding midfield player has hardly any of the defensive qualities required to play that role. Then having Ozil and Mkhi in the same team will cause them massive problems against quality opposition, as neither put in any effort defensively for the team. The Arsenal fans who are now getting all excited about gate crashing the top 4 because of their recent purchases and 1 good game against Everton, are just setting themselves up for a massive crash back down to reality. So for me Spurs will win tomorrow's NLD comfortably
I obviously hope you’re right. Unfortunately, history tells me it’ll be a lot closer than that. There’s usually very little in these games, I don’t expect this one to be much different. I’d be more confident if we were playing at WHL, but Wembley is almost neutral territory.
I agree regards that the rule about no retrospective action if the referee took action is bollocks. The rest I'm with you.
Your all just airing on the side of caution. Historically yeah it's usually never an easy game for Tottenham, but there has been a power shift in Tottenhams favour in recent years. Your team is just a lot better than Arsenal's at the moment, and you're playing aswell as you have been all season. The way you played against us at home, and then how you completely dominated the 2nd half at Anfield just proves how well your playing, no other team has controlled Liverpool like that at Anfield this season. Arsenal's team will not be strong enough to cope if you show up in that form.
Bookmark it all you like mate, just be sure to turn up after the game and concede that I'm right. You've bought a couple of players, one of those being a reject of ours, and you think all your problems are behind you, and it'll all be plain sailing between now and the end of the season. Give it another 14 hours, and you'll all be bitching and moaning about how useless Wenger is, and how he needs to go
I'm always here fella. And I guarantee you that I won't be doing any of those things you mention. Be sure to stick around after the game and concede that I'm right
The point I'm making here is that not for one minute do I think that 'all of our problems' are suddenly behind us, that's just lazy assumptions. Spurs are a very good side and we could well get beat today, but that does not mean all of our hopes will 'suddenly come crashing down around us'
So you do watch TV but just not on a TV? I watch Netflix etc mainly but use a TV and not a laptop. I rarely watch normal TV as in BBC etc. I thought you meant you literally watched nothing. Tbh, I think a lot of people are like you but use a TV instead of a laptop.
