I have to say that I cannot remember a “tougher” Cardiff side, since the days of Mel Sutton and Phil Dwyer. Different game back then...but the long ball is defo in use right now! :emoticon-0103-cool:

i think we play great football..........plenty of goals plenty of hard tackles ......what more can a fan ask for apart from a free pie and a Bovril soup........<ale>

tippy tap go nowhere type football is kinda boring when it comes 2 entertainment .....but a good hard tackle is as good as a goal in my mind......so yeah take no prisoners get you results, hence the fact we are three points off 2nd with a game in hand.

    get into em>>>>>>>>>fk em up

If all you want is patronising remarks about how well you played from the managers of teams that have just beaten you, then fair enough.

If you want to get slagged off for being tough tackling long ball merchants by managers of teams you've just beaten, then I'll take that.....<ale><ale>

yep would take that everytime sparkey dude..........football is about winning games surely yet we all know what bad sports men football fans and pundits can be when they lose......its just a load of sour grapes if we can be honest with ourselves....I got my bowl sitting in special reserve area under lock and key but its there just in case I ever need 2 use it.

look at us agreeing sparks>>>>>>we must be in weekend mood already....and long may this weekend continue>>>>>well until my retirement time at least <laugh>

    Agreeing - moi?.......<laugh><laugh>

A lot of them just want back-slapping and told how good they are. I'd like to be thought of that way as well, but personally as long as we win games, I'll take the flak as well. <ok>

You'll get **** all from me - I'm spending the bloody lot before I pop my clogs - and my kids know and approve of it.

I did try to explain about the principle of it a couple of months back on the Wurzel site but some of them got quite upset.....<laugh> :emoticon-0105-wink:

I posted a thread about it on the Bristol board because this board was so quiet.

In essence it was to get opinions on whether someone (and his wife) who has worked all his life and got some financial rewards for it should be cautious and put it away for the proverbial "rainy day" or spend it and enjoy it while they could.

The reason I put it up was that in all honesty, my wife and I had ordered my new X5 for my 60th birthday last September and I was actually feeling a bit guilty about it and was genuinely interested in other people's opinions. It took 12 weeks from the factory though and didn't arrive until early November.

Some of the Wurzel guys thought I was taking the piss and bragging - no way was i doing that but when I went to pick it up I thought **** 'em all......<laugh>
