As my mother used to say, you can read Ehab Allam like a book. This promise of agreeing to concessions, badge & branding is bluster, he knows some form of protest is coming and once that happens he will withdraw these so call promises and blame the fans. #nointentionofdoinganything

Enjoyed the kid from Selby who is forced to eat humble pie on a daily basis earning his living here, and who reckons we belong in the 3rd/4th division and we only got big gates ones we got in the PL.

Think he must have been sat outside Bob Carver's- seems to have several chips on both shoulders.

 

I assume you told him the FACT that we got bigger attendances in the bottom division this century than we did in the Premier League?

 

and then he'll wait for the fans to go against each other - the fans who protest and the fans who boo because they think he's prepared to change - he's hoping this happens on tv so he can say the minority are ruining it for the majority - he'll say the minority have driven fans away because of their threatening behaviour - he'll say they've tried but the minority are killing the club - we need to make sure that the protests are as successful as the red cards because it was clear that the majority were protesting - anything less will be failure

This is the same Sheffield United who have just spent several seasons the 3rd division and think they're back in the big time now.

 

I really couldn't give a flying **** about either of the Sheffield clubs. Disgusting clubs, disgusting fans, disgusting place. **** em.

 

I was really surprised by Sheffield when I worked there for a year. For some reason I thought it would be quite cool, but it was uncannily similar to Wakefield.

It certainly has that 'The Hills Have Eyes' feel about it.

 

Sheffield is the home of Gatecrasher though. It's at least got something going for it.

It’s the ways and means that worry me. As a supporter of the club, I would not wish to be associated with any protests that broke the law. What would such acts i.e entering onto the pitch achieve? The owners would shrug their shoulders and claim that this is why they cannot have a meaningful dialogue with the fan base.

If the protesting is sustained in this manner policing costs and how we as fans are handled at matches will change and sadly not for the better. The second and third order effects of direct action must not be ignored.

Also, and it may upset one or two on here, do you really think these planned protests will make any difference? As someone said on this very forum not so long ago when you (the Allams) are sat on millions on parachute payments will they care?
