Bristol will be after all they are Sky's new love child cannot do anything wrong in thei eyes, good job they are never on when they play North End, asky would be in mourning for weeks.

Just seen the latest Sky tv listings and without rhyme or reason Leeds are on FOUR more times.

I thought our game v Brizzle would be on but not.

Leeds would be televised if they were mid table - it's the "big club" syndrome that Sky promotes.

Wurzel City have got quite a few TV spots recently and coming up - they deserve it for the way they're playing recently.

I can live without our home games being on the box but I expect like me, many on here would appreciate some televised away games.

Trust me, if we start winning a few to get back into the top 2 instead of losing the last 4 on the trot and dropping out, we'll be flavour of the month again.

Ireland v Wales egg chasing at 2.15 on Saturday 24th. Probably get us a bigger crowd on the Sunday and police like early kick offs for local derbies.

If that’s in Ireland what possible justification can there be for suggesting a rugby reason?

It’s entirely due to the police making it as difficult as they can for us supporters.

The last time this fixture was a Friday night - were there problems then?

To me Saturday 3pm kick offs should be stuck in stone. Another blank Saturday and Sunday messed around with.

Nin, surprisingly there are people who take an interest in both sports - not me I would add. So I suspect the club might have suggested the change of day. Thus ensuring no clash with a 2.15 pm egg chasing kick off on tv.

The police still fear alcohol induced trouble for 3.00 pm kick offs in local derbies hence the earlier start. Doesn't stop anyone getting their booze earlier from offies and supermarkets or carrying on from the night before but shortens the drinking timeframes.

I don't agree with both and, like you, prefer Saturday 3.00 pm kick offs but there must be reasons behind the change and those are the only ones I can think of. <ok>

I cannot believe it has anything to do with the rugby. If it had been eg Bolton at home it would be Saturday 3pm, an away rugby game notwithstanding. it is a police decision.

Anyway it is what it is:emoticon-0112-wonde

Hey Nin - I know you've mentioned it on their board in the past <laugh> but Leeds are on the box another SIX times this next 8 weeks.

Only Wolves have have got the same coverage but at least they're top of the league and we're on twice - but Leeds? <doh>

There are plenty of better teams for sky to put on. It’s pathetic. I’ll be catching up on Netflix instead

Didn’t realise city game at Millwall on Sky again...considering this thread was raised because of the lack of coverage for us....we’ve had a good run this season! :emoticon-0103-cool:

Sky picks us again.

The bummer about it is the Derby away moved from the usual Saturday slot to midday on Sunday 18th March - at least it's another away game..
