Liverpool's much-maligned defence had held firm for so long, but Klopp's switch to three at the back, when he sent on Joel Matip for James Milner in the final quarter of an hour, did not have the desired effect.

=======

Didn’t watch the game, did Klopp not learn that North London teams love to play against three at the back

On the block sytem a win and a draw would do us this block wouldnt it ?
Or am i getting all this wrong :)
Obv. Two wins would be better, but saints away - hmmmmmm

I call it over 4 games so we've two more to get up to 10 from block

10/12 is league challenging form
8/12 over the season =cl form
7/12 gets you Europa league places just shy of 70 points.

I didn't like that change. We were already getting pushed back and that was inviting more pressure.

The introduction of Oxlade and Wij was an attempt to alt the pressure but it didn't work. Wasn't much in terms of options after that

And we're currently on 4pts in this block with games against Saints (A) and West Ham (H) to come. Could easily be anything from 4 to 10 points after them <laugh>

Didn’t watch it, just reading the report.

we could. that's called form and consistency.

nobody can really predict what lfc will do at times.

If we take 8/12 thats not disasterous imo. we really.ought to take 10/12 if we are any good but you know... **** happens.

In the first half i thought we wasted a number of opportunities / positions rather than good chances . As we have said of a number of games i thought a lack of precision and composure was evident.

PS i thought Salah was average today apart from a clinical finish and a Suarez finish :bandit:

West Ham should be a walk in the park.

Agreed. He had two or three chances to play someone in but either took too long or ****ed it up. Can't really complain about the [HASHTAG]#chelseareject[/HASHTAG] though can we
