good to see the lad doing well. I'm still mystified why we sold him if we aren't going to spend the 16-20 million we got...

Liverpool fan who's a friend of mine said apart from his assist he was poor. Little vision, diving (Shocked at that) and generally a little missing.

Also said Andy Carroll looked slow as fook.

Aye they'd have done a fair bit better without a fecking striker!

Dalglish "Of course we are pleased to win! We won because we approached the game properly!"

Am I being paranoid again, or was that a dig? hahahaha

I didn't like the way Hendo hugged Carrol when he scored, looked like best mates, or partners ?

He got booked for simulation, has not taken long for the scouse mentality to rub off on him. Saw him take a couple of corners, anyone care to guess which man they hit.

Thanks, no one wishes him ill here (unless they're a bit twisted with jealousy, inner rage, or a frustrated latent homosexual)

As for Carroline, the sooner he's in jail the better for humanity as a whole - loathsome thickoid that he is

I'm sorry but did any of you watch the game?

I'm a United fan so obviously I'm not going to heap praise on any Liverpool performance but I didn't see one thing to justify this kid commanding any sort of fee let alone £20m.

He lost the ball A LOT, he dived, he looked lazy and disinterested, he attempted several shots that never went anywhere near the goal, his long range passing stops at about 20 yards, and he has absolutely no pace. All this against Exeter.

I know he's no longer your player so you probably don't care that much anyway but don't paint him in a good light for putting Suarez in with a simple pass, any player on the pitch could have delivered that ball.

Carroll was equally poor, unfortunately he got a goal to deflect a lot of criticism. When the ball was played to his feet he'd hoof it back at the defenders, hasn't got a delicate touch in him, but does I'll admit, have a hammer of a left foot and unparalleled aerial ability.

One thing Henderson never was with us was lazy.
I'd be surprised if that's true.

I saw a stat somewhere posted be an LFC fan re Hendo. Apparently he has a very high pass success rate >93%. I haven't watched him closely, but he never caught my eye in any of the games I saw him playing in. However, other people have pointed out that he never stops running. Right now though, with his price tag, I'd rather have Hendo than Carroll.

Carroll's raw as anything, he touch has always been awful, balls ping away from him which is fine if defenders give him space but if they just say, ok, have it and do something wiht it...well. It depends on either of the players mental ability, they have huge price tags on their head and the pressure will start to grow on them to perform and do something out of the ordinairy.
