The pitch is excellent! It allowed us 47 entries into the box you know! I’m so glad everyone’s have a right go!

I agree there's more important matters, but it doesn't help having a pitch that is hard for either side to play football on. And makes you wonder what the hell the point is of the millions spent on it. Just one more example of nearly everything surrounding the club being an utter shambles.
Argumentative bugger.

Or saying you have spent millions on it...?

Where do you sit/Stand Driff?

I never gave the pitch any thought to be honest (apart from wondering why the ball wouldn’t go over the part of it under the wooden structure)

In my living room watching on tele.
The pitch was nearly as bald as me, and cutting up badly.
Clear to see, and commented on.
I flicked around to the other streamed CCC games. Their pitches looked like snooker tables compared to ours (yes, 6 pockets ...... )

Ah ok
Angle / close ups will give a different view I suppose

Certainly looks good in those, Chazz. But, as Driff says, on TV parts looked threadbare. Rather worrying as no rugby has been played on it much. Some, though not all, pitches shared with rugby union clubs which have been used all winter at the same time in bad weather, with contested scrums, hauls, rucks etc look in better condition.

You can see it a bit more here. http://www.skysports.com/football/hull-city-vs-leeds/374961 .Though floodlights can alter the look. Remember going on the BP pitch in the 1960s when it was often voted amongst best pitches in the Football League and looked like a bowling green from Bunkers and was surprised that it wasn't as good as I thought. Made me wonder how they played on pitches that looked like mud patches compared to ours, Derby and Leeds being probably the worst in those days.

I see what you mean but I think it must be the lights or shadows or summat cos the pitch was good.
