It's unbelievable timing!
Either the Allams (and others) don't expect to be tied up doing their best to get signings we desperately need, or else the Allams (and others) aren't going to attend the event.
Whichever, it appears to beggar belief.

If the final day of transfer was a song, I would like it to be like this. Moving along at an even pace and then a shock and awe blow your socks off kicks in.
