Most teams will see us as a team they can beat....just as we view Brighton....except with more reason. I still sense that 'experts' are surprised by our position and expect us to get out of it. I'm worried that although we are showing some improvement....it is far less than improvements demonstrated by other strugglers.
Two huge games in the space of 3 days. A defining moment is coming. Two wins would put SFC almost in mid table, two draws and we're limping, a win and a draw is acceptable, a win and loss is just about bearable, anything else ... and we can enjoy the Six Nations instead. I might not look at the results until Sunday.
Duvet sales could go through the roof in Hampshire this week. Productivity will drop to an all time low as fans seek places to hide. Why oh why am I going to both of these games?
Depressingly, with Swansea and WBA getting a new Manager bounce we have to win just to keep our heads above the water.
This month is **** or bust. We have stuck with MP2 in spite of overwhelming evidence that he isn't up to the job. We have rolled the dice with our attacking transfers for two years and we have had one of the least prolific attacks in the premier league. Every weak team around us has changed managers and they have all had or are starting to have a change in fortunes. Some of them have brought in transfer reinforcements as well. Quincy Promes Is a potential turning point, that injection of pace and threat could transform our fortunes but if it does or it doesn't happen the players are the only ones who can keep us up. We won't survive on game plans and strategic management this season, we have to expect more of the same. They can't look to the dugout or the chief execs because there are no geniuses there. If they're on the pitch they can save our season and our PL status and be our heroes again. All we can do is cheer them on. The fans have been brilliant the last few games, here's hoping it makes the difference.
As have we. They are currently bottom though, the new manager having joined when they were higher.Hardly a bounce in my view. That may change yes, but as of now, I would say using them as an example of manager bounce is a little premature. Other better examples there.
