It's mad how players like Promes are now 30m, in todays market Aguero would be 100m at least

It's ridiculous mate and still gonna get worse I think, be this year or next the bidding starts for the next lot won't it?

Have you heard anything about this one Beef or if we're targeting any others instead or a CB etc.

Nope, not heard anything about transfers coming in, but then I generally don't. I mostly get info about players out sadly

Sounds like typical negotiating to me. Just because we have had a bid rejected doesn't mean it wasn't enough, could be due to add on's or bonuses that they didn't agree with. Don't get why so many people get in a panic over things like this!

Just the nature of things, really. When Rio Ferdinand was purchased for £30m, Man United was the richest club in the world...with an annual turnover (in GBP) just a little below what we earned in 2016-17, and without the transfer income, to boot.

Yeah I thought that was the case was just wondering on the off chance lol.

Btw they expect Prem teams to get around £130m a year in TV rights after the new deal. They think the UK rights will increase a bit but worldwide rights will increase like crazy. So if we are still in the Prem maybe we can spend more. *coughs*
