We can say it until we are blue in the face...the current midfield options are not fit for purpose.

I'll accept that. What I don't accept is those same players not bothering their backsides doing the basics. Especially one of them who seems to think he s top quality..... I've never seen it.

The others know they're average but still think it's reasonable to coast in games hoping our forwards cover their arses then talk in interviews about desire and purpose and blah blah blah.

Klopp can pretend they're "important players" until the summer. But if at least 2 of the main 4 aren't replaced then I'll have issues with Klopp.

Keeper...same.

I'm actually going to give the current back 4 options a reprieve as I've always thought it was our ****e midfield that supposedly has all these engine room box to box players that never seem to actually go box to box that meant in reality we don't defend as a team like Klopp supposedly wants.

you still have to make your clearances and matip failed in that as has gomez as well.

Its all mentality.

The midfield you've highlighted

Its bloody sloppy elsewhere around the park too.

It is certainly. And as you say it doesn't explain entirely our weakness at set pieces etc....although a weak keeper and midfielders who don't track late runners is a good part of it.

If Klopp wants box to box...go get two that actually have the heart or balls to do it. Players with bottle. Big characters that will cajole the remaining weaker lads wouldn't be bad lol.

Same with keeper. Big burly loud bloke.

If they play like the last game my telly is in danger of having it's screen booted in.:emoticon-0121-angry

Klopp picks up on this injury time business in the pre-match press con. We should have played TEN minutes injury time, rather than the 4 given.
Sounds like tv is dictating that the max. injury time that can be awarded is 4 minutes, which is an utter ****ing disgrace.
Corporate advertising calling the shots.

given we were more likely to concede another than anything else, can we not sweep this under the carpet :)
