Really hope that finally this leads to a review of our "defensive" organisation or it won't matter a jot who we buy.

It's an absolute scandal that the likes of Mignolet, Moreno, Klavan, Matip, Lovren et al have been allowed to stay on this long; and I'm sorry but Karius is also horse ****. We have far too many average players in our squad.

How long will it take him to realise that they are actually ****? How many cup competitions will we have to get dumped out of and be made to look humiliated against teams at the bottom half of the table before the penny finally drops? He must have realised by yesterday's boos that the fans were furious. He can't feel comfortable by that reaction. He might be happy with it, but we're not!
Klopp reminds me a lot of Arsene Wenger, all and sundry can see where the major weaknesses are in his team, but he's to stupid to see it for himself.
I honestly think you'd struggle to find a worse goalkeeper in the whole PL and even Championship than Karius, but Klopp is such a dopey manager, that he'll continue to keep faith in him til the end of the season, despite having 145m+ sat in the transfer kitty.
It won't be long before your all calling for him to be sacked, like the Arsenal fans are with Wenger.

The defenders are made too look worse than they are by the set up we use and the lack of cover so often from MF. The slightly bizarre nature of some of the decisions re defensive personnel are worrying as well . Main examples being
a) How does Moreno go from being the backup to Milner ,in fact by the end of last season his stock was so low he was normally brought on as LM rather than FB ,yet this season he is automatic first choice.
b) The Goalkeepers please just pick one & stick with it and honestly just choose Karius because thats the one he wants plus what little confidence Mignolet had has now gone.
c) VVD for £75m
Tbh you are right on karius. There's nothing there to develop.
Southampton fans are a little more depressed though....
