Has anyone heard anything about the seriousness of the Bertrand injury or was it a precaution? Also, is Cedric OK?

MP said in his post-match interview that Ryan felt his hamstring, and asked to come off rather than risk it getting worse.

MP seemed confident that it wasn't much too worry about, but that he'd know better come Monday. Obviously even just a few days out will be enough to miss Brighton.

I’m not a fan of MP2 and I wasn’t a fan of him bringing Yoshi. However we won the game and kept a clean sheet so well done MP2 now please keep up the good work.
For all those criticising the substitutions today, Klopp has just subbed Mane for Ings and the Ox for Milner lol.

I saw him come over and give his shirt to a kid, but didn't see the sign. I really like Pied. He had a rough start to life at Saints, rarely gets game time or even in the matchday squad and despite not being the most gifted of footballers (and very one footed), he always busts a gut when he gets his chance on the pitch. Seems like he's a nice chap too :) Good on you Jeremy

I can't agree with you - I really didn't feel we were comfortable. Watford had gone for all-out attack and had a forward line of 4 giants, against whom we put up the two shortest full backs in the league (this is a made-up statistic, but it must be close). Bringing on more aerial ability made sense to me. As other people have commented, my original thought was that Yoshida would come on for Cedric, but Cedric was doing a good job, with Hojbjerg, of nullifying Richarlison and Holebas (Richarlison was getting really pissed off) so I can understand wanting to keep him on. I think the problem was not with the substitution, but with the fact that the whole team fell back into a defensive mode and just cleared the ball upfield instead of trying to build through possession. After all, there is no reason why 3-5-2 should be ultra-defensive and that's what we ended up with.

My man of the match: Hojbjerg

Did anyone else think that Carillo looked slow and unfit?

Agreed on all but not on new guy. He reminds me of Beattie.
