Solid first half. Getting space down the wings and had a fair few good chances from crosses although end product has been a bit lacking as we are playing inverted wingers again.

I hope Berty going off was just a precaution, didn't see what caused it he just seemed to sit down

Defensively we've been good and watford haven't had a chance other that a misplaced cross that almost sneaked past Alex.

Need to keep that up second half.

Just caught up on this thread - in terms of formation I don't see why some are annoyed at the starting lineup?

We have two big games in a week coming up and JWP - who has been one of our best players recently - will need to be fresh for both, so starting him on the bench makes sense to me? You also need to keep Boufal interested so wise to start him. Long has been first choice and didn't play against Spurs due to flu, so he's back in. So really there's not THAT many changes today which is different to usual. The only thing I don't agree with is Lemina not playing because I think he could be a really, really good player with a run of games.

By the way, where is Nathan Redmond? Not that I'm worried, a spell on the sidelines could do him good.

Only caught bits and pieces on solent but sounds like we're playing pretty well. Early goal would be nice.
 
I do see some logic in Tadic on the right, Boufal on the left with our regular full/wing-bakcs, becuase the wingers can cut inside and then Cedric/Bertrand overlap.

But with Pied on I'd be very tempted to put Tadic back on the left to provide the width that side.
