He has returned to Charlton. I hope he is shipped out on loan again. He is not the answer to our Striker problems.

I can only see the point of getting Ajose back if he is going to play in a 4-4-2 alongside Matividi or Magennis.

I suspect the Holmes % has gone on picking up the Bury slack in Ajose’s wages.

If we aren't signing anyone then I'd keep him.

From this, I think Robinson is not interested in playing Ajose.

Charlton boss Karl Robinson says he has made a decision on Nicky Ajose’s future.

The striker returned to the Addicks this week, with the club yet to officially end his season-long loan with Bury.

The Shakers don’t want to pay Ajose’s wages, which could present the striker with a chance to play for the Addicks again.

However, Robinson was coy over his Valley future.

He told News Shopper: “Bury didn't want him - they're still paying his wages I believe.

“He’s back training [with us] this week and maybe next week while we decide what the future is for him. That’s it really. He won’t play on Saturday. “I’ve already made a decision [on his future] and he knows that.

“Remember all these players had an opportunity to stay at the beginning of the season. So decisions were made when my plate was clean and every slate was clean.

“People thought pastures new or the grass was greener. I’m honest with them - they know where they all stand.

“He has to work hard and people have to prove themselves to me now. Now there are bridges to be rebuilt and I’m not willing to help build them.

“Again from a humanistic perspective you have to show respect and I will show respect always. I do things in the heat of the moment but I’ll always apologise if I've disrespected somebody.”

    Interesting comments from Robinson.

I sat near to Ajose on the train back from one of our away games last season - he is a Big Time Charlie.

Magennis' only goal in the last couple of months was against Amos. It seems odd to make no attempt to use Ajose.

I thought Ajose didn't want to play for Charlton anymore, and KR was obsessed with only having players who 'want' to be here.

I got the impression KR has said that's still the case.

It's a strange one. Usually we take players who have been rejected by other clubs because of a bad attitude, like TWWW or Leon Best. Now we're looking for a club who will return the favour.

Great post, but I think KR is playing a shrewd game. He's not as daft as he makes out.

100% - another gushing reference today to “the fans have been fantastic” while a pointed dig at Duchatelet “I’ve only had one call and one text”. Ultimately nothing he says will save him, despite the restrictions he has worked under his results for us have been nothing better than average.

But our win ratio is 100% over the last two games. Simples.

With 1456 off targets shots so far this season we are still on target to be one of the Top 30 clubs in the 72 club EFL.

Let's see where we are when we've chiselled at least 10% off that figure.:emoticon-0148-yes:

Get your facts right pal. It’s now a 100% win ratio after 3 games. A “great run”. We are also averaging 0.1% more shots off target this season, and our average attendance is up by 8 on this time last season. The signs are looking very positive for a top 12 finish. For sure, the rest is all background noise.

But If there was ever a Club that needed Robinson's brand of Bullshit right now, it be Charlton.

Something or someone needs to big us up right now...
