Yeh couldnt agree more - Was class whilst down here with us just far too pedulant (remember him arguing needlessly with a lot of Referees)

Glimpses of undoubted brilliance from this player, but unfortunately he displays more glimpses of stuff like that horrible tackle on Saturday.

Jewell "isn't talking to him" - how mature.

I fear he's one of those players who falls into the "bit of a luxury" category.

For me there's no doubting his ability. Just a big ? as to where he best fits in.

Terrible terrible player, never impressed me when he was at the Valley and always seemed to think he was too good for this league. Losing possession after pointless step-overs, failing to get past defenders and needlessly arguing with referees seemed to be his specialities.

It's funny how two people can watch the same player yet see them so differently... I agree that he was a petulant little so and so but for me he had genuine ability...!!

Anyway, what in the name of god were you doing posting at 01:46... Did you s**t the bed or something... <laugh>

I think that for all his failings Jewel knows that to get into the top league you need to have a team made up of team players not prima donnas. LM was told that he was something special early on, and indeed he has skills. However if he had the ability to be luxury player that you played who would turn a premier league match, he would not be where he is. He has to learn that he is playing at the appropriate level for his ability and that football is a team game and he is only 1/11th of the side.

He was talented when he played for us, but to much of a luxury in the either league 1 or the championship

Jewell knows this but is behaving towards the player like a spoilt brat himself. He needs to learn how to manage people and educate a player who has delusions of grandeur.

He was abysmal. Not a team player at all.

Love Paul Jewell's sense of irony.

They do say that Liverpudlains have a good sense of humour after all....
I think that Jewell has made Lee a scape goat to deflect from his own mistakes!
