Let's get the 'book' open early as it's now pretty obvious that Ashley is determined to complete his hat-trick of Newcastle United relegations and get Rafa Benitez to quit.

Who's next then?

Garry Monk?
Mark Hughes?
Philip Neville?
Gary Neville?
Alan Shearer? (In a last 8 games effort to avoid relegation)
Joe Kinnear?
Dennis Wise?
Idris Elba?
John Wayne?
Jesus Christ?
Glenn Hoddle?

Let's hear those predictions!

If the deal is really off then Ashley will release funds one way or another to keep us up. I mean, I think we might have £20m in the bank so we might get to spend that. If the deal is really off that is. Oh, and we'll stay up get sold in the summer and keep Rafa. You read it here first folks!

Are you new here or just got a poor memory?

I refuse to enter into this bollocksfest.
Rafa is going nowhere, end of.

This.

1) Where's he going to go? Is anyone seriously thinking Stoke or Burnley are more attractive? They're no different, relegations-in-waiting.
2) He won't get another "big" job. Arsenal certainly won't want his style of play and that, for me, is the only big club job likely to be available.
3) He's paid a ****ing fortune.
4) He's bulletproof up here - apart from Patrick, he's above blame.
5) Relegation means nothing - he's already managed in the Championship, what difference did it make? He loves life.

All this scaremongering is by the media - they love a NUFC meltdown more than, it feels, at any other club.

He will certainly want to finish this season off by keeping us up.
