Yeah seven pints would be me done for sure, can put away the whiskey like a champ but after six pints I'm asleep usually.
another planned Sunday, a few mates a bottle or two of Malt whiskey and a DVD of Monty Python & 'The Life of Brian'
We were discussing the merits of Monty Python today; way ahead of their time (in my view) and at times never a truer word written: Religion and how prepostperous it can be!......... I think it was "Blessed are the cheesemakers." :cheesy:

Take my hat off to 7-pints. Once knew of a Marine who had 14-pints in an afternoon, now that's going some, well to me anyway!

14 in an afternoon is pretty good going. Way beyond anything I could do.

We do Ascot every year and from about 1 o'clock on the Friday to midnight is about 15. Not good. Not clever. Just is. You just pace yourself. And then you throw up <laugh>

I would have “liked” your post but Nacho already has, and I’m an individual.

Used to love the Sunday session when it was just 12:00 til 2:00. Pub football in morning , 4/5 pints in the two hours ( great community atmosphere as everyone in pub at same time ) then down to coast for a beach kickabout. Back home for warmed up Sunday dinner , quick nap, shower then back to pub.

What've you opened mate?

Don't tell me a Merlot. I can't get there in time! <laugh>

I'm a wine heathen mate, I just decide if red or white would be better with the meal then the only other important thing is the %. Turns out it's a South African Shiraz from looking at the bottle.

My mate died last year and he used to buy mega dear wine and store it in his cellar his wife just popped round and dropped me 6 bottles of 2004 Merlot in as she doesn't like red, bloody hell its gorgeous what a difference between that and a supermarket bottle.:emoticon-0152-heart
