Nigel Farage has only championed a second referendum as he knows Leave would win by a far bigger margin than before - would be 70% of the vote instead of 53%.

Sadiq Khan should be investigated for spending the publics money on his project doom mission - what a pillock!!

I won’t express an opinion, but this article lays out some arguments in favour:

Like - we can do trade deals with anyone, including using EFTAs 38 existing deals, we can (try to) negotiate a unique customs deal with the EU, we don’t have to sign up to the 4 freedoms, and no direct control by the ECJ.

On the negative side, other EFTA countries pay (lower) contributions to the EU budget, so it’s likely we would too; and in practice if we want a good deal we would need to allow free movement of labour (not citizens, they have to have a job).

Plus we could all spend the £50 extra a week on free Union Jack chest tattoos on the NHS.

If we have a second referendum nobody can say they were lied to or mislead so bring it on.
Farage has only suggested it because he knows he will forever be held responsible for the disaster and wants to stop it and then say he was thwarted.
He knows that the small leave majority has evaporated and it would be 55/45 for remaining. The problem is can May get the tories to back ref 2. the swivel eyed loons seem to be running the show and will not want to take the short term hit to get long term gain.
The fall out from Brexit will mean the tories are toxic and unelectable for 30 years if it goes ahead.

Now, I do realise that having someone’s head up your arse is probably a delicious thought for you, but it’s not something personally I’m into

Not sure what this has to do with you, given you are not Leeds and do t live in the U.K. either, but I’ll explain quickly why you are talking bollox

My reference to not expressing an opinion was about the approach we should take to leaving the EU IF WE LEAVE. I havnt expressed any opinion on that.

Of course I would prefer we don’t leave at all but a) everyone on here knows I think that
B) it’s not pertinent to the question I asked

All the Ozzie Bender did was come onto a football site that has nothing to do with him, comment on a subject that has nothing to do with him, totally misunderstand what had been written, and then resort to name calling

Talking of which Theresa May has been referred to the parliamentary standards committee for using Downing Street for party political purposes when she had her cabinet photo call on the steps of number 10.
