Having watched this thread and seen how much top ITK knowledge has been on display, what about a cheeky bid for Phil Space?
What are the rules with 'expressing an interest in' a player? I would assume that you couldn't mention something without receiving some encouragement to discuss the matter....otherwise it could be considered tapping up or unsettling a player.
I did say last week that a friend of mine from Winchester Hotel spoke to an ex colleague of his who now works at Limewood who said Krueger has booked a week's worth of meetings there - so could well be true.
Some of the meetings I had to attend, in the past, always went off at a tangent, dragging them out. As everything covered didn’t need my attendance, they eventually started to rearrange the meetings so that once my bit was covered I could go back to work. I think the real concern was the danger of me bleeding to death as I dug my fingernails into my own flesh in an attempt to stay awake.
I used to have a plaque on my desk at work that said "lonely? Want to make new friends? Have a meeting" Needless to say, I didn't get asked to go to many. Working in IT, I always preferred either a quick skype job if face to face was needed, or just a bloody email if the purpose of the meeting was just to tell me something.
Of all the signings we make from other clubs, the most consistent seem to be those signed from Chelsea. Cork, Bertrand and Romeu... all successful. Why don't we go back and see what is available in the Chelsea stable?
I'd just sit on my phone playing candy crush until he got to the bit about how much money I could earn/how long before I could leave to go to Liverpool
Me neither. Must be readying ourselves for Championship football next season. Edit: Ah! Just checked him out: I know why we want to buy him; his middle name is 'Armani' - Les probably thinks with a name like that he must be quality...That black box is damned good you know!
I know lots about him. Was a midfielder who has been converted into a striker in the last year or so. Decent technical footballer, not a target man at all. Was a pretty average midfielder according to the City fans I know but has flourished up top and has scored a fair few this year. I have watched him a couple of times live and whenever City have been on TV and he has never really stood out to me. If we were to be looking at buying a Bristol City player I would suggest looking at Joe Bryan. Anyway I doubt there is much truth to the rumour as I can't see many players really wanting out of City at this moment in time due to how good a season they are having, and if they did they would cost a fortune.
I can support your views, I am a Bristolian and have Brizzle City fans in my family....they pretty much said the same thing. Reid, isn't one for us at the moment
