Just seen this on the BBC:
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, following a six-week inquiry, forensic accountants from Moore Stephens have concluded there is no evidence to suggest that Knight had any influence over the OPLC's internal stadium processes or that she had access to any sensitive material or papers.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Most of the argument has been done to death but there are many questions unanswered. One of these might be how a "Director" of the OPLC has no input into the bidding process or access to any sensitive papers. We might then ask what she does do for her money (no not the £20,000 she got from West Ham, the money the OPLC presumably pay her).

So either the bidding process is flawed or they are paying a Director for not doing anything important, neither of which paint them in glory.

To be fair, with the announcement we are bidding for the 2017 World Athletic Championships means that this story will be allowed to die a natural because of the prevarication of those involved. On the bright side, it also means that Wet Spam have a stadium with a track for the forseeable future. They look set to pick up the baton from Arsenal for the least atmospheric stadium in the capital, maybe the country.

West Ham and Newham Council have been in each others' pockets for years, and coincidentally Dionne King worked for both of them as well as the Olympic Park Legacy Company.

And that's the least dodgy thing going on...

If its true its a scoop, cos I can't find nothing else, but there is a link to this site on our club website. Very encouraging news, the irony of such repulsive acts being a catalyst to get our plans not only approved, but fast-tracked with Government support, is rather odd...can't really call it good luck can you.

Dont look a gift horse in the mouth. Its a win win for locals and for our new stadium. Like a phoenix from the ashes and other such idioms! :1980_boogie_down:

It probably vindicates Levy's stance if he has used the leverage of the Olympic Site to get a better deal for Spurs to redevelop in our spiritul home. Only one set of Nomads in N London!

Looked like they were going to drop the proceedings in light of discussions with Boris

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-14641254

But it appears the JR has started

    From the BBC....

1039 FOOTBALL: BBC Sport's Dan Roan on Twitter: "Latest round of Spurs' & Orient's High Court fight v decision to award Olympic stadium to West Ham goes ahead despite last-minute talks."

All this OS noise from Levy was only ever about leveraging it for the benefit of the North London site.

What a lot of us have suspected for some time, Harry. Levy was using the OS debacle as leverage to get as much as possible in the way of public funds for The Norhumberland project. Boris - you cough up, and I'll stop causing so much embarrassment about OS situation - Quid Pro Quo.

I think the better way to put it is that Boris is giving us enough money so that we go away. Which vindicates West Ham, Newham Council and the OPLC of all accusations, because if they were guilty of collusion they wouldn't need to pay off anyone who dares to point this out...

As a Spurs fan I'm fine with Levy's actions, but you have to question the honesty of the whole thing.
    It's bent as anything.

They're basically paying us off so that we don't push it any further and expose all of the embarrassing **** ups.

Who needs a Russian/Qatari sugar daddy when we have a den of iniquity in Stratford paying for our new stadium?

SP - Err...no, I said this way back on this site and earlier in the year on the real 606.

After today's news that the JR will go ahead, looks like Levy / Spurs are in a much better place with their options. Not sure how long this process will take though.

PNP - totally agree. The whole OS stadium process has been messed up since day 1, even going back to when they turned down the Icemen and didn't want anything to do with a football club.
