As in any business (with rare exception), what is beneficial to the shareholders are positive long-term prospects of the enterprise. Without that, the value of their shares decrease. I don't see anything the Allams are doing in the interests of the long-term health of the club (Unless the shareholders believe the "sweet spot" for Hull City AFC to be membership in League One or League Two).

While your first sentence is correct, most businesses don't have huge amounts of guaranteed future income, they have to keep customers happy and have an associated cost of sales to go with their revenue.

Typically revenue is based on this cost, with an attributable mark up or margin to cover other costs and profit. What the Allams have, this year and next, is the ability to set their cost of sales (by which I mean player wages) at whatever value they want without it affecting 90% of the revenue.

If the "3rd party" (administrator) is still here when those parachute payments run out then we return to a position of the shareholders' interests being aligned with success on the field.

Bit of publicity for him as they're doing the comm today.

Where would scoop, have got this information from? Aa himself or Ehab. Surely this crusading reporter would have challenged them on this? And told them ige was going to report it came from them.Just who else would have told him? He's just bigging himself up.
Well Chazz, regarding Burnsy, one of his nieces bought a car off me today, and a genuinely lovely lass she was. I don't know Burnsy personally, but if he's anything like her he'll be an utterly decent sort.
