Gets underway with the Merseyside Derby on the BBC tonight.

Love the FA Cup me. This and the first round weekend two of the best dates on the season calendar.

Anyone going to a game this weekend?

For me, upset watches are:

Coventry v Stoke
Fleetwood v Leicester
Fulham v Saints
Carlisle v Sheffield Wednesday
Shrewsbury v West Ham.

Not sure how many non league clubs are left? Wish them all the best though.

Being a little more serious than my last post <whistle> ... whilst I'm really looking forward to us playing at Fleetwood tomorrow as we should get to see something of some of our talented youngsters (incidentally our U-23's smashed Spurs 6-1 last night) like Harvey Barnes, Hamza Choudry and Josh King - not to mention seeing Adrien Silva making his full debut - the very fact that we are likely to make wholesale changes is also a cause for some concern - in addition, Fleetwood's captain and goal scoring hero from the last round replay with Hereford is Cian Bolger, who we released a couple of years ago and was at one point being touted as a very good prospect ... he'll really want to prove a point and is very dangerous from set pieces ... could have had a much tougher draw mind ... so bring it on! <ok>

Love the FA cup 3rd round. The chance for the minnows to cause some upsets and for fans of lower league teams to experience the big time. I now people say that the FA cup has lost some of it's shine, but for me the old girl is still the most romantic trophy in football.

Conference or National as they now call it. Lots of players on loan from League clubs so some decent football at times.

The town where I was born is in the conference, I try to watch a few games a season. As you said some good football. Some of the grounds / pitches are bloody good for this level, which makes for some good games.

The ground we go to is OK. The pitch, bizarrely, is immaculate.

I like the fact that me and the boy can leave the house at 2.30 and be home by 5.15! No ****ing about, just the football and home!

Don't we have a match day thread? <doh>

We do? I thought that was the Klopp v Wenger thread...

Nah this was specifically to see if posters fancied any upsets etc.

Probably a stupid question asking this board if any are going over the weekend <whistle>
