Who said they do? United are the biggest club in the world in terms of fanbase (that was the ground filling reference) so I'd expect us to trounce everybody comprehensively on that front.

City are a small club enabled by their owners, you know it.

Onto more relevant things.

Arsene Wenger is just embarassing himself now:

https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...er-penalty-call-against-arsenal-the-hawthorns

most embarassing part is:

Wenger discussed the “concerning coincidence” of what he feels have been a series of poor refereeing decisions against his team in away matches this season. In addition to his unhappiness over the West Brom game, he brought up what had happened at Stoke City, Watford and Manchester City.

He felt that Héctor Bellerín ought to have had a penalty at Stoke; he was furious at how Richarlison won a penalty for Watford and remembered how David Silva was offside for City before he played the ball for Gabriel Jesus to score.

@PISKIE when you guys going to retire this dinosaur off

City are no longer a ‘small club’ they’re a club who are well on their way to creating a genuinely sustainable business, as their turnover figures clearly demonstrate.

Yeah, ok. Very convenient for them.

You'll have to forgive me here as I'm not buying it. I very much doubt I'm alone.

The only issue of doubt surrounding City’s accounts is the value they’ve applied to what in essence amounts to self sponsorship by Etihad.

... and HMRC are not likely to be complaining ... 'transfer pricing' legislation is a one way street as far as tax authorities are concerned ... unless they are obliged to enter into arbitration under the MAP article within a double tax agreement <ok>
