I was looking up Mannone on the Arsenal OWS this morning. He has been named in Arsenal's premier league squad of 20 (or however many it is) and according to his profile he enjoyed his time in the Championship but now wants to concentrate on playing in the Premier League. All in all I think it's unlikely we'll see him back at the KC. Hahneman (sp) is a free agent isn't he? I think he's a decent keeper personally
Jesus, you're all slagging off Gulacsi and now Amos has been suggested as a good signing?!?! **** me. I'm really surprised that Gulacsi is to be sent back (if reports are correct), he looked shaky against Blackpool and made an error at Leeds, but you've got to give young keepers time. We knew we were getting an inexperienced keeper when he came in, who might be liable to a couple of errors, so I don't see the logic in getting rid after 3 games. If we're looking at a replacement, I'd say Hahnemann or Maik Taylor.
Mannone or Hahnemann for me. I don't think Vito is as injury-prone as people make out, it's just that he was thrown back into the fold when he wasn't fully recovered because he was by far our best option.
sorry you are wrong. Guzan played his last game @ Watford on 9th April in a 2-1 win. It was Minnone in the Middlesboro game 22nd April Lost 2-4 as per my post. Matt Duke took over after 46mins and played the rest of the season.
yes they do. so hopefully they will fund more new players. they can now use some of the Bullard money if they so wish to.
i wouldnt say anyone's slagging him off. he looks very shaky and for whatever reason doesnt look confident enough. that could last a few games or he could be like it for most of the season. id much rather not take that risk and send him back to liverpool.
In the current situation I would do the same, but the club made a choice to go with Gulacsi as 1st choice at the beginning of the season. To suddenly loose that belief, send him back after 3 games (only a couple of errors) and bring in someone else seems daft to me. Personally I think he's a great keeper and we should keep him, but then again I'd have gone for a more experienced number 1 in the first place - like Hahnemann or M.Taylor
