31 goals in 28 games this season is a good indicator that they're not good enough to be challenging for Europe.

Why? We scored and they didn't. Even if everything else is equal, where did luck come into it?
They had a couple of good chances to put the ball in the net and they didn't take them.
They didn't have a good goal ruled out or a player incorrectly sent off or something.

Palace gave us a good game. They came with an effective strategy and it nearly worked.
We had a disrupted first half, due to a couple of injuries and they caused us problems on the break.
They didn't have a striker in their team and it showed, though. We had a goalscorer and he did what he's there to do.

Hello HIAG I’m guessing the coastal retreat suddenly found the internet then?

 

We've been linked with him in the past. It's a tricky one, as I think he needs to be a regular starter to get him playing at 100%.
Our front four's currently Kane, Eriksen, Son and Alli. Son's usually the one left out, if anyone's benched.
Does he offer more than the Korean? I don't think so, but he'd offer something different.
Would that suit him or us? Not sure.

I’d like to have him. But not at the price Palace are gonna want for him.

 

I'd also be wary about him turning out like the other wingers we've tried in the last couple of seasons.
Atletico have put Carrasco on the transfer list, so maybe another Belgian might be the way to go, if we could persuade him to join?
Sessegnon's the rumour hanging around, but everyone's after him now. Tough one.

 

All the stats were similar apart from goals scored and 70/30 % possession yet Palaces deserved to win.
