Very true, but we have to deal with the here and now, and my point is still relevant to our current predicament..........................
Without serious financial backing then we will need a lot of luck and the only good glimmer of hope is all the bottom clubs are in the same boat.....We are far from going down yet we are just in the mix that's all and if Carval can bring 2 or three players in then we will have just as much of a chance as all the bottom half sides....
Agreed but too many players will make the job more difficult, and will dilute the funds, my emphasis is on quality, we have seen what 2 players leaving from our front line has done.............
We'll be fine lads, Wilshere, Sturridge and Barkley will want to go to the world cup so Huw will bring them in
Sell Ayew and Fer to free up extra funds. Saying that, I'd buy a good left back and convert Olsson into a winger.
Sorry Valley but surely no other mugs are going to sign those 2 , particularly Fer. Their speciality us relegation.

"I prefer to stay one year, check if the chairman, fans, players are happy with me, and after see the next step," he added." Obviously something was not right at his previous 16 clubs. Not putting the man down,but.......just saying like.
Two seasons ago they finished 6th and last season 4th. Apparently they have been plagued by injuries this season.. A lot complained about Clement because of his lack of attacking ambition. Carvalhino received praise for Wednesday's passing game and attacking style and he said in his interview that's the way he likes to play Some are having a go before he's even had one game. One poster said they hope Belgium would have a **** tournament so Martinez would come back. You really want a manager who's team have a **** tournament. The nutcase Blelsa has been mentioned no one in their right mind would want him if his recent antics are anything to go by.. I think if we signed pep and brought in Messi, Ronaldo and the like some of you would pick holes. We have all been disappointed by performances this season but true supporters would get behind the manager and team at this crisis time at least until it's all over.
Yes. Given the state of our play on the pitch, I'd take Martinez back in a heartbeat so that he could rebuild everything again and re create his 'Swansea Way' of play. Get behind the gutless players who played against Liverpool? They deserve hammering for that shambolic performance.
We lost our pulling power to attract good players a few seasons ago so we have to get back to basics and look far and wide for that Michu type of player that are out there somewhere,,,,Even in our lower divisions and non league football to find a player who shows the right qualities like Trundle had.......For this though you have to have Scouts who know what they are doing in recommending the right player,
