And who chose those ****ing curtains? Looks like Christmas at Travelodge to me.

Your club's owners lied to you supporters all along Archers, said they'd never sell him to us, said they don't need to sell, the demanded apology was also a planned ploy by the look of it, while all the time they were negotiating with LFC.
Terrible when you look at it that way isn't it, but if they actually spend the fee on players you lads won't mind so much I don't suppose.

Liverpool flew a team of doctors to assess Southampton's 26-year-old defender Virgil van Dijk so they could complete his £75m signing as quickly as possible - and before Manchester City could rival their interest. (Liverpool Echo)
Guardiola: Man City weren't interested in Van Dijk

Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino is £150,000 (AU$258,000) richer after his double against Swansea activated a clause in his contract.

According to Football Leaks, Firmino’s second strike against the Swans earned him the bonus as it was his 16th of the season.

The Reds structure the Brazilian’s earnings to rise incrementally based on the amount of times he finds the back of the net. This season he earned £25,000 (AU$43,000) for each of his first five goals, £45,000 (AU$77,000) for goals six to 10, and £65,000 (AU$112,000) for efforts 11 to 15.

Goals 16 to 20 will earn the striker £85,000 (AU$146,000) apiece and with Liverpool fighting on three fronts this season, he could be in for even bigger pay days in the near future.

long may he fill his boots.

If we leave him hopelessly exposed like we do the others, the difference will be marginal.

That's the issue. We play far too expansive football for it to change with just VVD coming in.

I say get De Vrij in and **** lovren and klavan off totally. Have VVD, DV, Matip and Gomez In for 2 spots.

And a new keeper that'll give them the ****s if they **** up.

this is a long stnading traditon at anfield.

Evans bough scales and babb on the one day i think.

Houllier bought hyppia and henchoz.

why should'nt klopp buy two cbs.

esp if one is on a free.

Football world has always been crazy but it borderline to obscene now.
My wife was watching a weird programme over Christmas about rich folks spending ridiculous amounts of money on gifts. The next programme was a programme on children who were to old to get adopted. The world is sick and my team just contributed to it - no moral high ground here :(
Same with actors, you have mountain rescuse crews, lifeboats going out risking their lives day in day out and then someone who kicks a ball.
What's worse is some footbllers dont even love their job they were just born naturally blessed.

Jonny Depp spent 3mil on a cannon so he could fire his dead mates ashes into sea earlier this year.

Then you look at the poverty in America and think wtf you doing Depp?

I hope we do. Don't see why we wouldn't? We'll happily buy 20 wingers.

I see Paulinho has now jumped in to talk about coutinho and give him advice... Barca already been reported by Atletico for tapping up Griezman. Getting boring hearing all the Barca players bang on about him now.

Seen what Fonte tweeted to Betrand? Let's just say the saints fans aren't best pleased <laugh>

It on about page 5 on the VVD to Liverpool thread in their board.

Acting a bit ****y tbh.

Buying VVD is a statement of intend by FSG especially if Coutinho is not sold in January.
Exactly dribs IF.

A lot think the funds being spent is from the sale of coutinho. So where is the statement of intent from then?

Reinvesting funds back in from sales is not exactly intent. It's more likely so their asset doesn't de value.

XXXX
TAA Matip VVD XXXX
Oxo XXXX Kieta
Salah Firmino Mane
deffo 2/3 more needed

Then the squad depth discussion begins.

Our second string could be:

Karius
Gomez Lovren Klvan Robertson
Milner Grujic Wijnaldum lallana
Solanke woodburn
IMO klopp needs the GK and no 6 next and then needs to take a good look at LB.

My argument about the fee is you can still get an upgrade GK CB & CM for £75m with the added bonus of not having to deal with Southampton which is getting embarassing for both clubs .
