It's not a bad film just slow and plot wise you've already seen it a thousand times.

Like a watered down version of Man on Fire?

Watched The Foreigner the other day. Similar type theme but with loads of ****e 90s kung fu in it. Not too bad though as far as Jackie Chan films go.

Yeah pretty much.

I watched The foreigner too and it was ok I suppose, not a major fan of jackie Chan movies either, bit strange to see him in a film that wasn't comedy based tbh

Saw Star Wars. Best of the new ones. 8/10. Not going to do spoilers, but like the last one in this trilogy, would have been better as a reboot because as a sequel it has major plot holes again.

Still, doesn't suck.

The League of Gentlemen was sensational.

Wouldn't call it that, it was great in places but felt it didn't have the completely 'of it's time' magic of the original ones, still far from the worst thing on over christmas. Hope that's it now though as if they do anymore they risk damaging the legacy of the show as I think the concept and characters are played out.

That said there's a new series of No. 9 coming which is that show's zeitgeisty, contemporary successor and what they should concentrate on

Very good Peaky Blinders finale. Think they need to end it there though, not really sure where they go from there...

It all felt a bit cheap to me, especially the big fake out death. Show's too scared to kill off major characters which speaks volumes of the thinness of it all really in terms of premise and cast. I think it's all just gloss and the concept is samey, I'm not really interested in watching more. At this point to do that I think they require the audience to care about the characters a bit more which personally I really don't.

I did like a couple of moments, the way they used that fake out to properly blood the new young lad in the absence of his full knowledge about the situation was one

They did kill the almost anonymous brother early on this season.

I suspected Arthur wasn't dead though because it happened so early in the episode and killing off a major character like that would be for near the climax usually... So figured the climax would be revealing he was alive.

There were a lot of predictable parts this season (who didn't see him banging the commie the moment they introduced her... Or Lizzie getting pregnant? Or Polly not really having given Tommy up?

Watching a film called Marshall
About some black attorney or something.

Like a plum, I fell for that one <doh>

Marshall
Pretty good watch that, the main guy chadwick something is a decent actor ( i think he plays black panther in avengers)

Now about to watch downsizing, Matt Damon, aboit shrinking people to cure over population, sounds like a laugh

I watched "still open all hours" earlier. Jesus Christ, what a pile of ****. its basically the same thing as the original but David Jason is no Ronnie Barker. Arkwright was funny in his stuttering way but old Granville is not funny. get this **** off the telly!

Downsizing is alright, not much to write home about really
