Nah, we were talking about a bullshit headline mate, "manager not yet offered new contract when half way through his present one"
It's like the situation with players, "here son, sign for 4 years and we will give you £100k/ week, don't worry though, in 2 years we will up it to £120k if you sign for another 4 years"
It's bullshit, if a player signs a 4 year contract for £100k per week you pay him that for 4 years, when he gets to the last 6 months and can look around you make him an offer that you think he is worth to you, if someone else offers more then you either match it or get another player in.

That’s terrible business and leaves you in situation where arsenal are with 2 best players he’s turned and looking for better deal to leave for free at end of season.

Can't argue with that.
Pep is a 3 year man then he "needs a break". He comes in, spends loads (like Jose) and wins things, then when he is told he doesn't need to spend anymore because he has a great squad he suddenly needs a break. He took the most powerful team in Europe (Bayern) and turned them quite ordinary, With City he may get the money a little longer but even the Arabs will start asking why he needs more when his team have just swept the board.
The two are very much alike.

Agree, but even though they're very much alike there can only be one winner in the Prem and in Manchester, it isn't Mourinho and that's where the problems stem from, i just can't see him breaking with his tradition and being satisfied with being 2nd best(or maybe worse)while his main rival goes from strength to strength with an open chequebook.
He needs an open chequebook to achieve, yes his time in Portugal wasn't a case of that but since his first stint at Chelsea it's been his way, the Glazer's and Woodward won't let him spunk mega-millions on a player only to drop him after a few games so that he needs more money for another replacement.

Anyway, Merry Christmas to you and yours Diego, (almost) always nice doing banter with you.:emoticon-0105-wink:

If they are worth it to you, you will pay them. If not then they will go elsewhere for the money and that club will have to hope they are worth it.

Arsenal are battling with Liverpool for the signing of Mexico winger Hirving Lozano, the Daily Star say.

Lozano, who is apparently rated at £42m, has scored 10 goals in 15 appearances for PSV Eindhoven this season.SD4

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge needs a move to Everton during the January transfer window as much as Everton need to sign a quality striker.

The reas
No way could we moan about him getting his dream move after what he did for us .

The fact he had an open letter published says it all IMHO .

Just a shame it never really worked out for him .
As a fan of liverpool, I know to an extent what it's like to see your best players move on. Because we stopped reaching the top a while ago. Everyone wants to keep hold of their best players and it's a nightmare to get momentum as team.

If I can remember clearly goals that mignolet should had saved:
2013/2014 Away to city, they went on to win the league. It ended 3:2
2017/2018 away to Arsenal .It ended 3:3.
And many, many more.

so one a year?

how about that joke free kick?

Seriously we all know he needs to go but hes not the worst keeper ever and slaughtering him til klopp eventually sells is pointless and counter productive.

I agree with all of this. What's crazy is that he probably one of the best keepers at saving penalties we've ever had. Dare I say I, possibly the best.

So we should let the opposition get j to the box then hack them down before they can shoot. That way mig doesn’t have to save any shots from long range and can just save the pens.

Virgil van Dijk to Liverpool: Paul Merson convinced January deal will happen
PAUL MERSON is convinced that Liverpool will sign Virgil van Dijk in January.

So VVD uses Klopp and LFC as scapegoats for his eventual move to City for £60m, on second thoughts watch LFC pay Saints £70m and watch City laugh their Bollocks off and watch Saints laugh all the way to the bank.
There are many other players globally that would do just as good a job as Virgil and cost less, time to break the Saints to Liverpool cycle and move on.

Has something about city been said?

Half the rags are betting on city I think now. Imo the echo reported on the telegraph saying its city and the daily star piled on now.
