Not actually that uncommon for a player who scores a pen in the game itself to then miss in the penalty shoot out .... bizarrely ... that's life 
Different scenarios as well, Vardy’s usual method of power would be more suited to in the match as if the keeper gets in the way there’s a chance of the follow up. In a shootout you need players who can place it right in the corners like they were doingNot actually that uncommon for a player who scores a pen in the game itself to then miss in the penalty shoot out .... bizarrely ... that's life
