I’ve no idea how this particular tribunal played out, but in general I know that they can be extremely brutal and confrontational and the barristers involved are skilled in making people contradict themselves.

On that basis, there can sometimes be a difference between making contradictory statements, and being dishonest.

There is hardly any difference distance wise between Rotterdam to Antwerp and Zeebrugge to Antwerp.
Trains more frequent from Rotterdam but the Zeebrugge station is a lot closer to the ferry terminal than the Rotterdam one.

Straight there from Rotters on a fast train no changes.

Zeebrugge is Bruges to Brussels then change (from memory).

But it wasn't followed. Therefore, though you would loathe to admit it, the Allams have *gasp* done something wrong *gasp*.

Stop being a ****ing idiot, I dislike the Allams more than you and that' says something. The Allams admitted doing the procedure wrong and doesn' need endorsing by me. The point is that either way they were or would have been sacked; unlike you who is *gasp* sackless. <doh>

I spent a pleasant few hours going round Newton's house and the exhibitions there earlier this year. Fascinating to see where he worked out some of his theories and the reasoning behind them.

I explained to the wife how lucky she was to be accompanied by by the greatest intellect to walk around the house since Sir Isaac lived there.

You can manage to go to the pub and walk round Isaac Newtons house for a few hours but can't manage to sit down for 90 minutes at a football match?

Well, I was on a mobility scooter. Which restricted me a bit, though it is quite well set up for those with mobility problems.
I wouldn't sit down for 90 minutes. I would stand until I needed to sit down then sit down for a bit without expecting everyone else to. I am not one of Babs members.

Who the **** is “by”? It must have been a shock to hear you modesty admit that someone else was there who possessed greater intellect than yours. But there again you drove round anyway and as Steven Hawkins would say “People who boast about their I.Q. are losers”!
