The concluding fillies bumper at Newbury was won last year by Fergal O'Brien's Cap du Soliel and he sends down Aweeminit for this year's renewal. With the Tizzard horse carrying a penalty for a bumper win in France in April and the others with experience looking no great shakes, this could be a good chance for the daughter of Arcadio to open her account. No idea on the prices at the moment though.

John Butler won the race in 2013 with a filly called Montana Belle who they promptly sold. Montana Belle benefited from having already had a run which had been in a juvenile bumper at Warwick. Coincidentally Butler legged up the best jockey he possibly could when running at Newbury in the form of one AP McCoy. Interesting?

Very interesting to say the least!
What do you think as regards breeding Stick?

Touchy on board and a few of them ran in that Warwick bumper didn't they?

What did you make of Hughie Morrison's bumper winner at Hereford on Saturday - Apres Le Deluge? Big powerful sort but showed a very nice turn of foot to put the race to bed. Could be smart <ok>

Jesus Odddy you must have even more time on your hands than me if you are watching Hereford bumpers!!! I will check it out later!

<laugh> I was struggling for horses for the comp and just went for it as Morrison has a decent strike rate in bumpers. I was surprised how well he won. Will make a lovely chaser one day <ok>

Before someone else puts up the first one ( you know who you are)

Lingfield 3:25 My brother mike 20/1
Newbury 12:30 Leoro 16/1

Each way singles and a double.

All the money early doors is for AIMEE DE SIVOLA and having watched the Warwick bumper again I am not surprised. She does however drop back in trip where you would think a step up would be preferred.

Happy Diva 5/1 2 05 New , really like this horse , tough consistent hurdler , she seems to be developing into a decent chaser , tommorow on a galloping track she can show her best hopefully .

Another Frankel debutante in the shape of FRONSAC in the 5.40pm at Kempton tonight.

He’s a half brother to 9 winners and if he were with a bigger stable would be a much shorter price than the current 40/1 available. I’m not saying he’ll win, but at that price he’s got to be worth an each wash chance when you consider that Frankel has had 40 two year olds run this year with 31 of them winning or placing.

Michael runs one in the first division at 5:10 and he is 40/1 also. He ran really well despite being very green on debut and has been working very well with the older horses since that debut. The big yards have plenty of runners in this but all the same that price is a bit insulting for a horse that was third over C&D on debut.

NON RUNNER
There goes that monster double!

HOGANS HEIGHT runs for Foxtrot today in the Ludlow 12:50 and is 10/1
I know there are some nice sorts in the race, especially the fav, but I will be very surprised if HH doesnt make the frame at the very least!
