The highlight for me would be the Frankel colt making his debut over timber at Catterick. Bound to have been well schooled by Harry.

Don't fancy anything tomorrow but Catterick appears to have the best racing and, of the other races there, I'll go for:

13.20 Impulsive Star
14.20 Espoir De Teillee - a tote place bet if ever I saw one
14.50 Halcyon Days
15.20 Raving Bonkers

Good luck if anyone is betting

I used to know someone quiet partial to the the odd ‘tote place bet’... <laugh>

1.00 Southwell MACH ONE- 7/4

Wont get rich off this one but should win, he won lto and absolutely blew the start- Southwell is a track in which a being prominent is a definate plus! Which makes his performance even better! Only gone up 6lbs and looks a horse on the up , chances are he will break on terms this time and should be hard to beat in this field

If the Bridge is on I'm there ..stable visit at Mr Kirby's then racing...any northern brethren free pm me and I'll sort visit and badges Stay Frosty xx

Didn’t see this until just now but would have said give the legendary Barbers Shop’s little half-brother, Maestro Royal, a pat on the nose from me.

And ask the trainer when he will deem to win with Maestro Royal – now 7 lbs lower than when he left Seven Barrows!

Beef Stew and Dumplings, 9/10.

Just been having a look at the perchings re a couple of animals following their runs last week.

Mr Henderson’s Bardd, who made the dear old regular readers ebullient when he won on his Flat bow, has been given a pretty predictably figure of 76. Whilst Movewiththetimes has been lowered a pound to 144. Huge kudos incidentally to ‘The Sporting Life’ re this one. There ‘nudge, nudge, wink, wink’ re this horse, last month, looks like it could be inspired. I’m sure his next racecourse appearance will be the 0-145 novices handicap at the Cheltenham Festival. 16/1 currently available, for that heat, which does look ultra generous to my eye.

Beef stew again???? You lot need a new chef. If it's not beef stew it's fish and chips.....some top table that....more like an crew messroom on a rusting coaster!
