Trains on time and all that nonsense however I have noted a mild deterioration in the 'DB' service over the last couple of years!

It goes back to my primary school days when I was attracted to those Matchbox model midget soldiers who belonged to armies who wore grey. This led to fantasies about the 'Wehrmacht' and the Confederate side of the American Civil War. My political nous was not as sharp as it is now; my apologies to anyone offended!

However football and experience attained from visits to 'The Fatherland' will not allow me to resile from my 'Deutschland, uber alles' stance!

LATE EDIT; recent news on charges against one of Sarah Palin's offspring prompted me to have another wee gander at images of said Alaskan politician. Would certainly like to slip my limited Nurnberger Bratwurst into all three moist parts of her anatomy!

Ich kann nicht verstehen, warum so viele von Europa die Vorherrschaft des Vaterlandes fürchten. Die deutsche Effizienz würde sich in ganz Europa durchsetzen und Wohlstand und einen besseren Lebensstandard für die gesamte EU schaffen. <ok>

I concur although I have to admit to breaking down your text into blocks to reach a translation. My knowledge of the German language is from rote and TV programmes along with presence in bookmakers, bars, restaurants, racetracks and football matches.
