Anybody out there :)

Favs day today I reckon so my arrows are on the following:

12.45 Nav CRACKING SMART
3.25 Chelm GLENN COCO
1.50 Chelm HUDDERSFILLY TOWN
1.15 Chelm CALYPSO BLUE
2.35 South STEPOVER

Kauto Grand Mogul @ 25/1 (ew) over at Navan 1.20. Had some fair form a few years back including a fine 4th to Kiltullagh Vic in the Martin Pipe at Cheltenham. Was then off the track for 2.5 years and has had 2 OK runs since his return. LTO he was running a fine race but tired in the final half mile. Today's trip should suit him better and has attracted a bit of market support into 16s. Good luck all.

Just watched WBA v Man U. What a load of rubbish. WBA look like a relegation team and Man U didn't look much better. £90m for Lakaku? Oh dear. He wouldn't look out of place in League 2. Man U on the break, ball in WBA half, where is Lakaku? Not even made it half way out of his own half <doh>. Then, could have laid it off for a tap in but takes weak shot at goal - and misses. Some striker. How he stayed on for 90 mins I don't know. Makes me wonder about the manager. Makes me wonder how they are hanging on to second place.

Lukaku has not got the movement or football brain to do it against quality opposition, RVN and RVP were a different class to him. He will batter the lesser teams though as he has done so faf this season.

Wow a 200/1 winner over in Ireland it's not often you see them!

Smokey, I went back and had a look at this race to see if there was any way you could have even invested pocket change ew. The answer I came up with was a 100% no! 16 raced maiden with an NH rating in the mid 80s, which looked fair based on his previous form, wins a listed novice hurdle. The oppo had been mixing it with horses in the mid 130s and had some success. Fair play to anyone who got a return on that.

Or maybe not fair play?

That old cliche of 'the horse doesn't know its odds' I suppose or a bit of the typical bent horse racing at play
