Have to agree with Tobes, he’s developed Billy big bollocks syndrome. He needs somebody to show him that he ain’t anywhere near as good as he thinks he is - or could be. I’m hoping KDB did that yesterday.
He has always been a petulant little ****. I've seen him kick out, stamp and make nasty challenges since he arrived on the scene. It's largely been glossed over because of the media **** fest over him, but now he's not playing that well, his petulance is being highlighted again.
Just seeing it on MOTD, Kane and Alli really were lucky to stay on but can’t be retrospectively banned as the ref saw them but bottled sending them off. All I want from refs is consistency, players from non-top 6 clubs get sent off for less all the time
Yeah ref had a shocker. Mane got a red against city for a high boot but otemendi got away with it. Also the push in the box. Sorry but if Lovrens was a pen then so was that. I don't usually moan about refs but **** me where's the consistency?
Aside from the fact we were total dog **** yesterday, City were excellent and looked like a side who'd spent half a billion on their squad. Have to admire KDB. It was painful to watch what he done to us but he's an incredible footballer and sometimes even when they've done damage to your own team, you just have to somewhat admire and appreciate the chance of being able to witness that good of a player on show. For me, best in the world right now.
I went to the Swansea v City game Wednesday night. The ref literally gave City a couple of decisions, one hand ball and one corner, because they asked him too. Was right in front of me and clear as day, they asked so he gave. He just ignored Swansea in similar circumstances. He was a City fan boy that night, pathetic to see. The bald ****, I don't know his name. I don't know any of their names!
David Silva is their best player mate. And that he's even better than De Bruyne says how good he actually is.
Yep, when we played Man City Kompany cleared Vardy out last man and only got booked as it was 3 minutes into the game. It’s like when a foul inside the box isn’t given and you look and think that’d have been given in the centre circle. Too many decisions are given/not given based on, time in the game, where on the pitch, which team/player it is etc
I'd say he was their best until this season. De Bruyne has gone onto another in my opinion. Even when taking out the playmaking and goal scoring, his work rate is brilliant. You don't often see creative players grafting like that, they're often seen as a luxury type but he breaks the mould. Takes nothing away from Silva though, still a world class player. Both practically guarantee a handful of FPL points when they play.
He’s not even close mate, ask any City pass holder. Silva is viewed as their all time best ever player. He’s a little genius.
Yeah I agree... In reality within the first 5 mins of a game you could break someone's leg and only get a yellow. Excuses like it's too early to get the red card out, it would ruin the match etc. What about the poor sod that's out for 12 months.
Yeah he's been there a lot longer so has iconic status. Doesn't mean he's better though. Similar to Gerrard and Suarez. Gerrard was the main man and fans favourite, but Suarez was the better player.
It's all opinion of course but Silva is the one who has noticeably improved under Guardiola and gone up a notch. Amazing player.
No he is better, especially of late as he’s been sublime. KDB is a tremendous player but he’s not got the level of consistency that Silva has had for years yet.
Over a 5 year period Silva is better, I'm not denying that. I'm going on this season and KDB is the better player imo. Put it this way if he keeps this up he'll be placed above Silva as a City great.
As Luv says, it’s his vision. His ability to see a killer pass in an instant, and not only see it, but deliver it. Incredible player, he runs that whole team.
Once everything is said and jizzed over, the facts remain....no one can touch City..Spurs are in the group below chasing the rest of the positions. I'm just glad we didn't blow £150 mill plus in the summer to get there. 6th biggest spenders so 6th spot looking on for us.
