Deliberately tried to injure him. Shocker. Kane did Sterling too. It was so late even the ref had turned round. Both 100% red cards imo.
Bought...that's some team he has bought for £400m in 14 months...on top of inheriting Aguero, Silva, Debruyna (excuse spelling) and Kompany. They are s great team but the Pep is great thing is a bit of a joke to be honest ... he should be winning the League by a country mile...so it's no great achievement...great for city players and fans but it does not prove him to be a great coach imho. Ain't Complaining about the result...it flattered us to be honest.
I was saying this pre-season but not now, his team are primarily players he had there last season, add a GK who is not a ****** and a new RB, it just looks to me like he's got through to them and they're believing in his tactics. Humble pie for me.
It's easy to build a very good team with that money but to make them play like this takes talent. I thought Pep was a joke but at this moment he's taken City to the level of World Class they will win the league and CL this season.
Yeah fair play. They have spent the GDP of a small country, but you still have to get those players playing well together. Pep has got them looking like the new Barca, they truly are a treat on the eye. Spuds didn't stand a chance tonight.
I fancy PSG for the CL. Just think they have more firepower than City. But Pep has proved he's the best around. Yes he's had money but money can't buy you tactics. Done excellent in his short time at City.
Not many will, I think the same tactics need to be employed against them as before which is high tempo closing down giving them no time on the ball. Sit back and they will get you.
What do you do though ? Sit back and they will come at you, try and press them and they will carve you open.
