    Chelsea v Southampton
Should be a good game on paper but it depends which Southampton turn up. They looked good against Arsenal last week only to get royally thumped at Home 4-1 to Leicester City.

Alvaro Morata is available for selection after missing the game at Huddersfield with a bad back although I would keep him on the bench and go with the same team as in midweek.

Hoping for another win to consolidate our position what with Man City playing the Spuds it’s a win win situation regardless of the result.

Starting same team makes sense as all played very well. Some players are overdue a break though, Azpi, Alonso, Christensen, Hazard and Kante in particular. Is Luiz fit yet? Conte does seem to overuse these core players, but tired legs risk injuries like Kante got earlier in the season. With Barcelona lurking, and possibly his job if we lose, Conte might just think about changes.
If so, here's a possible alternative line up.
Courtois, Rudiger, Luiz , Cahill, Moses, Kante, Bakayoko, Kenedy, Willian, Morata, Pedro. Subs Azpi, Fuzzy Ampadu, Hazard, Drinkwater, Michy, Christensen.

    just reading bbc sport news.

Wilkins does talk a huge amount of ****.

    Summary:

    - We should have kept costa - no **** but if he's fallen out he's fallen out
    - Ruben Loftus Cheek should have moved earlier and he'd be even better than Alli is now. Well we'll never know as it didn't happen and Loftus Cheek wouldn't exactly be the first "talent" to fall by the wayside because they haven't been good enough. Even now he's a bright spot in Palace's team but he's hardly pulling up any trees
    - Solanke and Abraham should have been kept instead of Michy - not that i'm particularly in favour of michy but he's scored some key goals though i doubt he's going to make it with us (which is a shame). However michy was bought last year as a second striker when abraham and solanke weren't exactly showing what they were about (in fact they both probably would have been on our bench and not developing like Loftus cheek). Anyway, Abraham is now getting good experience and Solanke left because he didn't sign a new contract so not exactly us letting solanke go
    - Bakayoko has been bad, shouldn't have sold matic for him and let chalobah go - Agreed chalobah left very cheap and we should have kept. I understand Matic to bakayoko as one is getting old and wanted to move and the other had a great season with Monaco. Whilst baka hasn't been brilliant, he's not been bad and i would say he's been an okay signing who only seems to fit our style of play against certain opponents.

Will was never used by Tony. Not Will's fault.

We could have been 3 pts within City and Will would have had handful of goals - if Tony had started with 11 in all our matches with Will.

Better late than never <ok> Start with 11 like last season and collect 3 pts.

On his day he's a match winner, nobody can argue with that.Other pl teams would build a team around him.

On his day 3 years ago - he used to be a match winner.

Not now when he is 30. He is not a match winner. But when judiciously used like last season, he can make valuable contributions.
But he sulks when used in that role.

So I would love if any of the Italian teams come in.

On the other hand - I won't be surprised if Tony replaces Judas at OT next season, if our board is not backing Tony & Judas fcuks up 2nd spot this season.

But if our board is thinking about Carlo, that is a massive backward step. With all due respect to Carlo, he is not Tony's level.

Baka needs to run into Saints box to provide Height.
We should buy Lemina from Saints this January.

Only Cescy slower than Alonso in our 11 <doh>

    Nevin agrees with me.

    Chelsea have a problem

The real problem Chelsea have at the moment is that without Alvaro Morata there's no one to get balls in the box to - without him there's no real height for them. So, their having to play it into feet every time and Southampton are dealing with it well at the moment.

Unlucky from Pedro.. but no movement on the near or far post - Eden & Will.

Rebound Alonso does his usual clumsy 'unable to sort' his feet out stance.

Surely, only Sakho clumsier than Alonso? oh wait, Alonso is way worse.
    Game crying out for Zappa
