Caught the second half. Nice to see Dembele complete a game looking strong throughout. Thought Lamela looked really, really sharp when he came on. Still as one-footed as Jake the Peg is three. But some gorgeous chips and threaded balls that make you realise how crucial he could be this year.

Would love to play Stoke every week.

Very good performance against a shocking Stoke side. They were lucky to only concede 5. Butland apart from one dodgy moment prevented an anihilation.

Thought Dembele was superb today, this is the Dembele we all know and love, oppo players just bouncing off him. If only he could shoot !!

Son just edged him for motm imo, very lively and enterprising performance, Stoke couldnt get near him all game.

Good to see Dier commanding his defence. Dele got another assist but was probably the only Spurs player still off key.

Brighton up next then i think its the big one away at City. :emoticon-0101-sadsm Dare i say that we have a very good record against them recenly........

Good result
And helped by Chelsea dropping points unexpectedly
<cheers>

Not only have we had poor results in the last few weeks, but the teams around us have had decent ones. Hardly any points dropped at all.
It’s a lot to ask, but in addition to Chelsea’s defeat, we could really do with Liverpool and united getting beaten in their respective derbies, and saints getting a result against Arsenal.
City are storming it, so I’d rather them smash United to keep them within reach. Everton are under new management, and a derby usually helps to throw form out of the window, which might be the only thing to stop Liverpool at the moment.
And hopefully Arsenal won’t turn up at St Mary’s. <laugh>

Yes mate, as you say the last couple of weeks when we have dropped points the rest of the top 6 have kept on winning. Lets hope the 3 games tomorrow go our way. Defeats for United, Arsenal and Liverpool please. (would be a shock if Everton get anything in their derby tomorrow though but as you say anything is possible)

Palace let Benteke take an added on time penalty........and he misses. The bloke's not scored since Moses parted The Red Sea.....baffling.

Hodgson has just said that he wasn't supposed to take it but that he grabbed the ball, ignored shouts from the bench and took it anyway.

Could well be the final straw for his Palace career. Totally lost his confidence at Pool. Worth a flutter if he's available for a decent price?

EDIT: Just noticed that someone has edited his wikipedia page to say: "universally considered to be the worst player in the history of football" <laugh>
