- his finishing is even more ropey than Salahs
This bit is funny. I would have agreed in the first few weeks of the season but 18 goals later it's a daft comment.

It's now a question of when not if Philippe Coutinho heads to Spain. An offer in the region of £120m would certainly be given more consideration, whether that arrives in January or June, writes @JamesPearceEcho

not really. If Salah could finish he'd be the best player in the league! He scores plenty because he gets plenty of chances (of his own making)

Early in the season he would create (for example) 4 and score 1 but that has changed dramatically as his confidence has grown, he's not missing much at the moment and hasn't been poor in front of goal for a while now.
You're also wrong about Firmino.![]()
He is the best player in the league
Salah 4.5 shots/goal
Lukaku 6.4 shots/goal
Kane 8 shots/goal
Firmino would be a brilliant mid table club player or for the likes of everton. He's not good enough to challenge for a team. He's basically Arsenals version of Giroud. He'd be class else where but for Arsenal he's not good enough for their club.
Just as Henderson would probably be great for another team, not good enough for Pool.
Yup, Lampard also better than Gerrard, more trophies, more goals more assists right?
Maybe. Same with Morata for you lot. Not a bad player but should score more.Firmino would be a brilliant mid table club player or for the likes of everton. What part of Salah having both the most goals and fewest shots per goal supports your claim that he can't finish?

I'll stick to what I see on the pitch. Stats are funny.firstly, it's a sample of 12 games
Secondly based on your stats, i can come up with my own:
Salah 14 goals, 10 big chances missed
Sterling 9 goals, 2 big chances missed
Kane 10 goals, 5 big chances missed
Aguero 9 goals, 8 big chances missed
Rooney 7 goals, 3 big chances missed.
I'm going to presume the goals scored were big chances converted so convertion rates are:
Salah 0.583%
Sterling 0.818%
Kane 0.666%
Aguero 0.529%
Rooney 0.700%
Clearly the only one with world class finishing is sterling.
However if i ever watched football i can see that salah and sterling aren't natural finishers (although stats support 1 over the other)
Do you think you'd be higher in the League if the Costa thing has been sorted out?yeah i thought Morata was going to be a brilliant finisher. He's not bad but could be far better
Any January bid will be pointless. Maybe they will agree a sum for the summer, but I would personally like to see how our season goes and Brazil get on in the world cup too. Could get his price even higher.

Source?
If Morata could do anything but dive maybe you wouldn't be losing to West Ham
