I thought this all be over by the time I landed in Brussles in a couple of hours.

Looks like it might be over before I board and a few minutes.

England did well to take it this far but too big a mountain in the end.

That's it all over Aussies win by 121 runs, and take a 2-0 lead into the 3rd game at the Waka. White wash is starting to look a distinct possibility.

That's basically the difference, their bowlers suit the Australian conditions, and ours suit English. The side are fairly evenly matched, it is just the conditions that make the difference.

I always admired Boycott as a player but a prat as a person. I was playing golf at the Belfry once, and happen to bump into Boycott on a shared tee. It said on the tee that the players on our tee had priority over players on his tee. So we got ready to tee off, and Boycott said we are going first, so my playing partner showed him the sign that we had priority. He said do you know who I am, so we said yes, so he said, well then I'm going first, and proceeded to tee off. What a ****.

    P.S. I met Freddy Trueman once, he's was a **** also.

An enormous one. Way worse than Boycott. Shame, as he was obviously a great player.

I think you are probably right, he was a right obnoxious twat, full of his own importance.

You was more patient then I would have been John.
Great player but a knob-head of a person.

Literally had Alan Lamb run into me a couple of years at an outdoor "Beach Cricket" event over the Summer at Maroubra beach, he was running along the Boardwalk, trying to get to a Dunny is my guess, when the chunky twat bowled straight into me, silly **** came off worse for the encounter, swivelled into place , then took off running again. His demeanour thou was one of How dare You be there, Dont you know who I am?. Prick.

Oh and Gladstone Small really has No neck, the poor Sod.

Strangely enough that day he was playing golf with a women, not so very long after that he was accused of assaulting a women, and I am pretty sure it was the self same women he was playing golf with that day.

Stokes was a huge loss for this Ashes series he's the only one with a bit bogan in him.
The rest are bunch of public school boys who get upset when they get called names by those nasty Aussie's

Silly post. The England squad went to a mixture of state and fee-paying schools. Attendance at a fee-paying school does not make you a 'public schoolboy'. Stokes behaved like a twat, he may face criminal charges and he'd as likely as not have let us down in Aus either on or off the pitch.

The point still stands without Stokes we have no mongrel on the pitch who can give as good as he gets.
Stokes gave a couple of lippy lads a slap for giving him ****. I'm not saying it is right but we all do silly things in our mid 20's.
Sorry for your benefit I should have said some of them are preppy boys who can't the Aussie's

Isn't the story that he was defending two men who were subject to a homophobic attack? The aggressors assaulted the gay men with a bottle.

Whatever he did and why I believe he was thought to have done it a bit 'over-enthusiastically'.
