I've had a quick look at the Ludlow card Ekbalco (have to say it is largely poor fayre) but a couple that might be of interest are:

2.05 Wicked Willy - won on chase debut and then hampered badly last time out which effectively ended his race. Worth another go here as he remains unexposed over fences.

3.40 Sea Story - Kim Bailey in good form and has a decent strike rate here.

I am tempted to go for Dueling Banjos instead of Wicked Willy

A couple that I like would be the two going for the hat trick in MARIA'S BENIFIT and AUDACIOUS PLAN and Paul Nicholls only runner in MR MIX. But surely the biggest cert of the day has to be non other than GRECIAN KING in the opener, named after me :) :) :)

Agreed, if he can get off to a better start than lto where he gave up 10 lengths and avoid any jumping errors (he left his back legs in the water at Cheltenham) he'll go close I reckon. No hill to get up either at the finish. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Well, on first glance, my instinct would be to "do a gazboy" on that Ludlow card, Mr Ekbalco, Sir.
Faves all the way.

However, take a closer look and you'll see the forum's top spoiler is riding at Ludlow today - Mr Matt Griffiths.
1.00 Tikkinthebox
2.05 According to Harry (course form, won in April, Class 3 Chase )
Neither are particularly exciting, to tell the truth, so watch both win (one of them is in Chelsea's selections for today).

The one that captured my attention, so definitely one to stay away from, is Tb Broke Her in the 1.00. Won twice over hurdles in Ireland and placed twice in handicap chases there. Today is its stable debut in the UK. Might be worth an each way go for interest. 10/1 on Bet365 right now.
There could be a decent gamble in the 2.05, in the shape of Evan Williams' Still Believing. 2 hurdles wins at the course and the last time out chase debut could well have been too bad to be true, so it could be the value of the day at 33/1. ( or not )

Never bet on names, colours, jockeys, right?
Well, no, you've got to have a bit of a laugh - a horse which ticks all the boxes runs in the bumper.
Big black star on yellow silks, the horse has a "hilarious" name, Fifty Peach Way and it's ridiculous odds at 100/1 - what could possibly go wrong :emoticon-0148-yes::emoticon-0140-rofl:

Enjoy your day, get home with full pockets and avoid those BangorBET booths, rip off merchants.
( Once we've got Chrimbo out the way, we can start to look forward to "One Day in May" )

That’s great to hear she is firing on all cylinders Well wherever she runs I’m sure the forum (majority of us anyway <laugh>) will be cheering her on!
Weighing her down with our shillings!
At sandown Saturday so hope she runs there.

From the betting in the opener at Haydock it would appear I've opted for the wrong father/son combo. Sam Noir has decent form on easy ground which tempted me to have an ew dalliance at 12s (now 18s). That scheming bugger Mr O'Neill looks to have a plot lined up for his little lad. Pop Rockstar into 9/4 from around 10s last night. Still Duelling Banjos being backed at Ludlow so will hopefully stay out of the poor house.

She is in at Wincanton on Thursday.

Looks a lovely opportunity for the mare. Paddy Brennan back on to boot. And nice prizemoney as well. Hope see goes in again for you, old boy.

Been raised in the weights but would imagine the Pipe horse would be the main threat if reproducing his penultimate effort.
