I don't honestly put much store by stats but you have to say they don't point out a failure do they?

Son IMO has been a very solid performer for Spurs, always tries to make things happen and often succeeds. We can all list our long list of failed strikers but Son is not one of them, but perhaps it does show how difficult it is to come to Spurs as a striker and succeed. Son who was thought of as an attacking midfielder could now be looked upon as an out an out striker without too much exaggeration.

I have to say it: Nice one Son!

I think generally speaking everyone loves Son. However like most players in a Spurs shirt...consistency can be found wanting at times.

He scores great goals, vital goals, plays super sub superbly. Earns himself a start and has a flat game <steam>...that Spursiness shines through

I love having him at our club...a definite positive and a game changer on his day.

Son's a very good player and he always plays with a smile on his face.
Works hard, scores goals, never gives up and doesn't moan about being moved around or left out of the starting XI.
A little inconsistent at times and he does overdo it a bit and take too many touches around the box, but nobody's perfect.

Great attitude and very adaptable. Also seems to have a good football 'brain' to go with his hard work.
And boy, can he score special goals!! <cheers>

Like Defoe before him, the less time he has to think about his finish, the better he does. When he hits the ball first time, he's lethal. When he's got time, he's pretty bad.

I like the guy and would be very keen to keep him. I wouldn't want him taking a penalty, though.......alongside Lamela, Sissoko, Dembele, Winksy.....

Decent player. two footed, quick with good movement and can come out with the spectacular.

If theres one criticism of him it's that sometimes he's a bit soft (but generally speedsters are) and he can choose to dribble a bit too much. The last flaw is sometimes when he's in a great position to square, you know he's going to shoot from angles not favouring him as he loves a shot. Still relatively young so there's time for him to improve.
