Really not up on who is available. Is there a list of managers out of work? Alexander at scunny seems pretty impressive. What about Shakespeare?
The time now is fast approaching we're city have to back him or sack him, if there's no change come January in both off/on field personnel, then i really do think we will slip down into league one, if they do get rid then the new guy needs a week or two to decided on what he's inherited before the window opens.
I don't think there is anyone realistic. Brown seems to be fond of us. He seems mad enough too. Alexander could be a good a good shout.
I think he may have been critical of the Allams in some of his radio punditry? But it's hard not to be, and maybe I'm imagining it. I'd love him to have another crack if Sluts does go.
Sure. But it wasn't long-term, was it, really? Same with De Matteo. I'm still struggling to think of someone who got a job at a top flight club and went on to have a pretty long-lasting and successful top-flight career.
The calendar year 2008 was amazing from mid table in the championship to a non stop juggernaut smashing through London and taking the 2 goal lead at league leaders Liverpool , I don't think supporting City will ever get better than that , including our cup final appearance - it's why I can't bring myself to hate duffen either
People always seem to ask 'who is available?', but does it have to be a manager who is out of work? Granted our last 3 managers have been (save for Phelan who was already here), but it doesn't mean they are the only ones we are looking at. Alexander would be a great shout, Paul Hurst at Shrewsbury or Danny Cowley at Lincoln would also be decent.
OK, although Liverpool were in the habit of promoting from The Boot Room. It was a little different to the kind of thing I'm talking about. Still, good call. Anyone in more recent times though?
He was the first one to be promoted from the boot room. Capello was promoted at Milan from the back room staff. Guardiola at Barca the same.
They paid for Pearson. Compensation for managers isn't anything near what it is for players, it would barely cost them anything.
Been championing Alexander for a while but given the way the two teams are doing at the minute not sure he would swap tbh
