I am astonished at just how many people on this thread come from dysfunctional families. Nobody in my family is a Skate fan so we never had a social worker visiting regularly.
Mum from Burnley, supports Burnley, Dad is an Argyle fan from Plymouth, I've been a Saints fan since the early 70s (was taken to the Dell by my Grandad - first game I ever saw live so was hooked. I was brought up in Somerset so had a choice of going to see either Bristol team or Yeovil. My Grandad hated driving in Bristol, and refused to take me to Yeovil because they played in the same colours as Celtic!!? (Don't ask)I was the only Saints fan in my family but am converting my son - he's got to the point of checking their results first and texting me about results and things, so making progress.
