We should get him.
Quality player, will always score goals at this level even for small clubs like Plymouth. I'd have him ahead of Maynard actually

I agree, he'd be a good partner for Nuge. Trying to be positive, Danns has been disappointing so far but was terrific on Saturday, if he plays like that more often than not from now on, hopefully we'll have some creativity from midfield. But Ebakns-Blake has the attributes to bring midfielders into the game as well as hold onto the ball and do smething with it himself, and if he can find his goalscoring boots like he did the last time he was in this league he could be a cracking addition. It looks very much as if we will be going with the diamond now, with no real wingers in the squad it seems the only real option.
The diamond only works if the two in the centre (Fernandes and Danns) work extremely hard. They both ran their socks off on saturday and both played exceptionally well. The only trouble I have with the diamond is that King goes missing even more. He needs to be in a flat 4-4-2 with a defensive minded player alongside him. Am I the only one who can't wait for Johnson to work his way back to full fitness? I reckon he may be the missing link between the strikers and the midfield.
You're right, and luckily Danns and Fernandes have looked the hardest workers in the entire team so far (with respect to Nugent as well). If King continues to go missing, he simply has to be replaced by Johnson. He needs to take games by the scruff of the neck like he was doing in January last season, the Barnsley game is one that sticks out. With even less responsibility defensively, he can focus on what he does best, get between the 2 banks and make something happen. His forte is sneaking in to the box and finishing, but he needs to realise how frightened defenders are of him when he runs at them with pace. Having good body swerve and great finishing, they know it could be in the net in a second. He is also a very good passer and can pick killer balls. I think the 4-3-3 suits him to some extent, with the front 3 occupying defenders he can get into the box unnoticed more easily. That said, he needs to develop his game and not be a one-trick pony. He needs to make himself available, demand the ball and make sure he's not marked by moving around. He musn't let games drift him by. If he continues to do so, Johnson is more than a capable replacement. Somebody said on here last week - 'Andy, you're not a kid anymore son'. And they were right, it's now or never, he's got to prove his potential now.
I remember once a long time ago studying films of a Wolves striker we were signing. I was quite excited at the prospect until a few weeks and 5.5 million pounds later. is he ade in disguise? oh i hope not
It's the fat sack of useless that is Billy Paynter. I wasn't taking a dig as such, just pointing out the flaw in Wizards plan.
Keep him, he has just sponged off Simon Cox and Charlie Austin at Swindon and now out his depth at Leeds. League 1 player at best
i dont understand why were not hearing this rumour more- wolves seem ok to sell, we want to buy, slots in well. well.... get him!!
