Manchester - Hate Utd
Let's say in 5 years time. He's matured a lot both on and off the field, he's turned into a fantastic footballer for club and country, but wants to "come back home". He says he's always regretted leaving Newcastle and would love to come back. His contract's up and we put a bid in which is accepted. Do you welcome him back with open arms or does the hurt still burn hard?

I would have him back if the price was right and if we needed a striker. I still don't know who to believe over this transfer and the board do have a history of telling lies to the fans.
But if the deal and the situation was right for NUFC, then I would gladly have him back at the club.

Of course I would. I wouldn't have him back if we had to pay £35million for him but if we got a decent deal and he was the geordie coming home then definitely. Even if any fan says they wouldn't I can guarentee they'll be the first ones calling for him to be resigned if it doesn't work out for him.

YES! He's a Geordie and is a brilliant player, everyone seems to be destroying him on here. But i wish him all the best at Liverpool, people seem to forget Ashley is a greedy **** aswell. Andy did brilliant when he was with us and im in no doubt he will do brillaint at Liverpool. Is no one pissed off at Pardew for asking Andy to put in a transfer request ? Mikes mouth would have been watering at the prospect of a nice fat 35 mill coming in his direction. " We fought to hold onto him" ****OFF!

Depends. Where are we in this 5 years time? Where are Liverpool?

I might give him a chance. Not sure, would have to see how the wounds heal. Ask again in 5 years ;)

Totally Agree

Would I want him back? Never. I firmly believe it was his decision to leave his "boyhood club" and "the club he loves" and won't forgive him for turning his back on us.

However, if he did come back, then I would of course support him while he was on the pitch as I will and always have supported every player to pull on our famous shirt because I love the club and no one player will ever change that.

That's pretty much my thinking.

The amount of foreign mercernaires that have played for Newcastle that i've cheered on.

Cheering on Rooney for England even though i hate the thick ****.

I remember despising Cantona when i was younger, telling my Dad how much i hated him one time.
He turned round and said. "You might hate him now, but if he was to pull on that Newcastle shirt, you'd love him".

Obviously Cantona never signed for us, but that didn't stop my Dad from being right.

Don't know mate. I havent decided what the truth is yet so it's hard to say.

At the moment i'm switching between '**** everyone' and '**** everyone'

Though remarkably calm at the same time. Odd.

Dispondent sort of covers it.

" Smoke me a kipper,i'll be back for breakfast."

LOVE IT. Gotta love a bit of Dwarf, Red of course, not the poison dwarf, that would be disgraceful.

Just cheered me up no end! Thx!

At the moment no, 5 years? Who knows. Still feels like he has abandoned us but it'll depend how the season pans out.

Certainly glad we didn't get Insomnia back though

No idea, depends entirely on where we are in 5 years time and if 34 year old Shola is still able to partner England international Nile Ranger on his continuous rise to the top ;)

Not right now nor next season.

Maybe in 2/3 years(similar to Keane's return to Spurs from Liverpool).. or maybe he'll want to end his career with us?

5 years time = ANYTHING can happen, we might end up in L1 mediocrity or challenging for the CL spots in the EPL!
